My comment was clearly a joke. Thisboycries may reflect and consider he over-reacted (we all do at times) and maybe he'll be back.

Hello Everyone, Firstly, to the few who I have already interacted with in some way shape or form, thank you - your welcomes and discussions mean a lot and I look forwards to hopefully speaking with you all more! I've been listening to ABBA all of my life really - my earliest musical memories were of putting on the 'Greatest Hits' compilations with my Dad, at about the ripe age of 5! I am now eighteen and still have such an immense passion for the group. I never thought I'd see the day where I live during the release of an ABBA album a few years ago, but how wrong I was (and I'm sure many younger fans were too). My collection of ABBA records is probably more limited than other fans, but I love the singles and albums that I've managed to acquire since I started purchasing physical media. A few years ago I came to the conclusion that I'd like my copy of The Visitors to be with me in my final resting place (wherever or however that may be !), and still stick strongly to the decision . I find it to be a truly masterful album, and it remains my undisputed favourite !! I was extremely lucky to be able to save up some money and see Voyage on their third public show - it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend to anyone on the forum who may be contemplating !! All the best to everyone, and I look forwards to discussing various topics with you all. Once again sending my thank yous to the users who interacted with me and welcomed with me before I had the chance to make this post. Cheers

Hi all
I’m mark from the UK.
I first saw abba when they won Eurovision in 1974 (I was 5 at the time). Been obsessive ever since. Had an abba bag I took to school, which got me a few slaps over the years.
Saw voyage the first week it opened, and I’m going again on the 6th April. That one should be a bit special! Seeing the 50 years to the hour from when I first saw them. How strange and synchronicitous!
My two favourite bands are abba and the smiths. Now, I know what links them in terms of similarity, but it’s taken me a long time to realise what it is.
Xx

Actually, I don't know why I posted as guest for so long. It might have to do with my lasiness.
But I don't have anything to hide, so here I am.
A German Stefan from Berlin, 56 years old. For me it started in 1980, terorrising my mother with playing the Voulez Vous Album 10 times a day and it even got worse with Super Trouper.
Am a huge Musical fan as well and am very thankful that Björn and Benny didn't "just tried to write a Musical"but really wrote two pieces of Musical Theater with great scores!
