Germany -- ABBA Gold falls from No.24 to No.47 -- (It is its 272nd Week in the German Top 100)
That is the 5th= most Top 100 Weeks by any Album in the German Charts
It is 5th equal with the German Cast Album of My Fair Lady. That 1961 Album spent 208 Weeks in the German Top 10, & a massive 88 Weeks at No.1. (ABBA Gold would be on 273 Top 100 Weeks if we give it 11 Weeks at No.1 & not 10 Weeks. It was at No.1 when there was a missing Chart Week at the end of 1992 - W/E 28th December)
Switzerland -- ABBA Gold has a big fall from No.15 to No.61 -- (It is its 342nd Swiss Top 100 Week)
Austria -- ABBA Gold falls from No.12 to No.25 -- (It is its 237th Week in the Austrian Top 75)
It's a lot to take in, especially when you get in to the ITunes data - but gosh, it's phenomenal isn't it ? All of the stats give such an amazing image of the world relating to ABBA - truly fascinating - and very pleasing I feel a great sense of pride at how well ABBA have, and are, performing chart wise - almost like a proud parent lol Maybe that comes from being an 'Oldie' ? - from having watched this whole phenomenon unfold over the decades - and knowing I was a part of that also. I think a lot of us feel similar to that. It's certainly been an amazing journey thus far - and I thank you sincerely for providing all of this information on the continuing journey
Ireland -- Gold rises from No.36 to No.17. It is its 653rd Top 100 Week
18 Hits falls from No.58 to No.70 in its 87th Week in the Irish Top 100
Austria -- Gold rises from No.43 to No.28. It is its 259th Top 75 Week there
Sweden -- Gold rises from No.25 to No.10 in its 152nd Week in the Top 60
The No.10 Position gives it 51 Points, which enables it to rise from 4th to 3rd place in the All Time Swedish Album Top 100, with 4983 Points. It overtakes 21 by Adele, which falls from 3rd to 4th place with 4967 Points. (Gold would be 1st in the All Time Swedish List, but it lost a lot of Points due to the Swedish Charts only being every 2 Weeks for 'Gold's first 14 Chart Weeks. So it lost 14 Weeks of Points.).
Switzerland -- Gold rises from No.83 to No.57. It is its 365th Week in the Swiss Top 100. It is the biggest scoring Album since the 'Official' Swiss Album Charts began in November 1983. It has 15,089 Points. (But there were Swiss Album Charts before November 1983 & ABBA did very well in them).
