Just listened to UK Radio 2 Vernon Kay, playing Beverly Knight ' Not Prepared For You " and a line in it my Heart was Hit Like A Train, ( mentioned more than once) So that elusive track/ title may not be to far off the mark if it exists...... After all it is just figuratively speaking and nothing dark and sinister... to much " woke" these days... The line is actually 'you hit my heart like a train'

I would love Agnetha and Frida to record 'Heaven And Hell' by Josefin Nilsson definitely think they could do it and the song is crying out for an Agnetha lead.

I hope that Gracias Por La Musica also gets the half speed master treatment the 2014 Deluxe Edition basically classed it as a regular studio album and I am only going to buy the album of The Visitors not bothering with the box set

Frida seems alot more upbeat in the English version and her vocals in the Spanish version sound like they were recorded using a vocoder The video for "When All Is Said And Done" was filmed in August, 29 of 1981, the video "No Hay A Quien Culpar" was filmed November, 27 of 1981, one day after her divorce from Benny was final, and one week before Benny married to Mona. Maybe that is the reason she looked sadder. Interesting that the video for 'No Hay A Quien Culpar' was filmed 3 days before The Visitors album was released and 'No Hay A Quien Culpar' was recorded in the studio on 24th November 1981 then the video was filmed 3 days later. I love 'When All Is Said And Done' and 'No Hay A Quien Culpar' both songs are excellent

AdamDawson2003 , don't you really know? Frida was just going through a break-up of her marriage and the song deals with the same matter. Isn't it enough to look sad? Frida seems alot more upbeat in the English version and her vocals in the Spanish version sound like they were recorded using a vocoder

Just been watching the video for No Hay A Quien Culpar and I noticed that Frida looks really unhappy whereas Agnetha doesn't look unhappy I wonder why Frida looked so sad in that video

All 6 six songs from the 1982 sessions would have made it on to a 1983 album anyway

The packaging on the 2LP set refers to all the recordings being released exclusively under rights for BMG, though. Has Universal not relinquished all rights by now? Yes, I would completely agree with you there. I think Colin might be mistaken on that. The original album was merely licensed to Universal (and probably within the contract that it could be revoked at some point). Clearly the licence has been taken back and then the album leased to BMG with a similar agreement to what Universal had. The rights to the album are owned by “Tripple A HB”. I’m assuming Agnetha is one of the A’s. It’s commonplace now for albums to change hands, particularly if the record company never owned the full rights to them in the first place. ABBA own the rights to the Voyage album so could, if they wished, take the license from Polar/Universal at some point and take it elsewhere. The problem with this is that Polar would still fully own ABBA’s historic eight albums. Would it be possible for Bjorn & Benny to buy the rights back for ABBA's previous 8 studio albums (9 if you count Gracias Por La Musica)

The news has reached Super Deluxe Edition. superdeluxeedition.com/news/abba-the-visitors-40th-anniversary-reissue/I do find the suggestion that The Day Before You Came and Under Attack somehow shouldn’t be part of these issues a bit bizarre. Where else are they supposed to go? It’s no different from Fernando being included in Arrival and Summer Night City / Gimme Gimme Gimme being included with Voulez-Vous. It’s the nearest album to them, and have been associated with it since the first remasters in 1997. The Singles is a long-dead compilation and was adequately replaced by either the 1994 4-CD set or The Definitive/Essential Collection. Fernando was recorded during the sessions for the Arrival album so thats why it is part of that album and regarding the 1982 singles they should have been standalone single releases I actually hope that the 'Gracias Por La Musica' album gets the half speed master treatment Summer Night City and Lovelight were recorded during the sessions for the Voulez Vous album and I have always regarded Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) as part of the Voulez Vous album even though it was recorded for Greatest Hits Volume 2 but I hate new songs being on compilations. As much as I love and adore 'Just A Notion' and I am thrilled that the full version finally got released after 43 years it does feel out of place on Voyage despite having a new backing track it belongs to the Voulez Vous album as it was originally recorded during the sessions for that album it should have been included on the Deluxe Edition of Voulez Vous as it was apparently considered for inclusion I recently added 'Just A Notion' to a playlist of the Voulez Vous and it fits perfectly as a bonus track on that album.

However, the Japanese atrocity does it absolutely no favours. I did, to my utter embarrassment, purchase the 7" Japanese Coca-Cola single many years ago (sight unseen) and upon first glimpsing the front sleeve, was so appalled, I never looked it at again. The alteration to the band's faces is beyond absurd, particularly Bjorn, who simply looks demented. I also never understood the 'faux-perm' enhancement to Frida's obviously straight hair in the original photo. Disturbing. I’m glad you said that as I had half an eye on one on eBay. I’m guessing it’s something better seen online and not owned? There’s that classic scene in Addams Family Values where, after listing a series of atrocities that Debbie has done, Morticia Addams adds, “All of that I can forgive, but Debbie, pastels?” And here it’s “but ABBA, Coca-Cola?” (even if it was probably Stig that brokered this deal without ABBA’s knowledge). And the real problem with this is that younger fans like Adam (sorry AdamDawson2003 , not that I think you’ll take any notice) think it’s a “proper” ABBA single when it really wasn’t. I do understand that it wasn't an official single but it should still have been included in this box set as its part of The Visitors era.

I still think its rather pointless including the singles for The Day Before You Came/Cassandra and Under Attack/You Owe Me One in this box set as those songs were not part of The Visitors album sessions they were recorded in 1982 for the unfinished 9th album that would have been released in 1982/1983.
'When All Is Said And Done/Soldiers' is by far the best single from The Visitors album and it should have been included in this set so makes no sense why it was not included yet 'Lay All Your Love On Me/On And On And On' was included in the singles box set for Super Trouper 3 years ago.
'Slipping Through My Fingers' should have been included in this box set as well if they wanted a B-Side they could have used 'I Let The Music Speak' or 'Like An Angel Passing Through My Room'.
No Hay A Quien Culpar/Se Me Esta Escapando would have been a lovely bonus single
I will buy the half speed album of The Visitors and it will be the only half speed album that I will have I do plan on getting Ring Ring as well purely because Ring Ring is my favourite ABBA album.
2024 will see the Waterloo album get the half speed master treatment and then in 2025 the ABBA album will get it I actually hope the half speed masters series ends with 'Gracias Por La Musica' as it got a Deluxe Edition in 2014 which basically confirmed it as a regular studio album I know that 'Oro' got a Vinyl re-issue recently but the album artwork for 'Gracias Por La Musica' is absolutely lovely it would be nice to see that album get a Vinyl re-issue.
I am quite surprised that 2023 hasn't seen a 30th Anniversary re-issue of More ABBA Gold on Vinyl as that album is very hard to get on that format and its still the only way to find 'I Am The City' on Vinyl.
These are the singles that I think should have been included in The Visitors box set
Head Over Heels/The Visitors
One of Us/Should I Laugh Or Cry
When All Is Said And Done/Soldiers
Slipping Through My Fingers/I Let The Music Speak
No Hay A Quien Culpar/Se Me Esta Escapando

I have listened to entire A+ and I much prefer the original A album all the songs sound a million times better in their original form I do not in anyway dislike A+ but I do adore 'Where Do We Go From Here'.
The new remixes of the songs have ruined the original songs I would have preferred a Deluxe version of the 2013 version with 'Where Do We Go From Here' and the Orchestral version of 'I Was A Flower' as bonus tracks which would have been a much better way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original album.
Dance Your Pain Away is about Agnetha telling her female who has just discovered her boyfriend in the restroom with another woman to forget all her worries and dance to get over him and I much prefer the 2013 version to this new version.

I love 'Where Do We Go From Here' its a fantastic song and Agnetha sounds better than ever when I listen to it and the songs on Voyage I picture her as she looked in 1983 she even sounds like she did her voice has not changed at she has really looked after it.

2023 marks the 40th Anniversary of Agnetha's 1983 album 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' but I would be so delighted if a 6th English solo album does get released any new music from any of the ABBA members is always excellent news and if rumours about the 2 unreleased songs from the Voyage are being released in 2024 then its going to be a very exciting time.

If we do get 2 more songs, I think it would be best to release one at a time, rather than both together. And with an ABBAtar video for at least one? What do you all think? I agree with an ABBAtar video and I there is no lyric video for 'I Still Have Faith In You' when all the other songs on the 'Voyage' album got lyrics videos I actually would prefer to release both songs at the same time.

“Heart Attack” was tame compared to Madness’s “Cardiac Arrest”. Perhaps it might just be “Hit Like A Train”. I’d be disappointed if this song isn’t one of the two as I really want to hear it! Did someone have a title for the other Voyage outtake? I seem to recall Adam had one but not sure where it came from. 'Hit Me Like A Train' & 'My Story Ends With You' were the titles of the two songs left off the Voyage album according to a Facebook status on one of the ABBA pages in 2022. I personally would love one of the songs to be called 'Voyage' so the album as an actual title track I know 3 ABBA albums don't have a title track. I really hope that ABBA can give new life to a few more songs from the Undeleted medley no reason why they couldn't do a new backing track for 'Just Like That' and re-use the 1982 vocals same treatment they did with 'Just A Notion'. A vocal version of 'Arrival' in time for Christmas would be wonderful. 'Rikky Rock 'N' Roller' which was recorded in 1974 or 1975 during the sessions for the ABBA album is one of my favourite songs and it would be nice to hear it released in full along with 'Rubber Ball Man', 'Autumn Days' (Hamlet) & 'Giving A Little Bit More'.

Under Attack is one of my favourite ABBA songs its an excellent song and extremely underrated I always request it to be played when I go to parties as its incredibly catchy would have been the perfect title track for the 1982/1983 album had it been finished. I like all 6 songs from the 1982 sessions I will say that I think 'Cassandra' definitely should have been an A-Side its classic ABBA and far to good to have been a B-Side as much as I like 'The Day Before You Came' to me it sounds more like a B-Side definitely the wrong decision to release it as an A-Side
I really like 'You Owe Me One', 'Just Like That' & 'I Am The City' think all 3 songs are excellent it would have been interesting to see how 'I Am The City' would have done had it been released as a single in 1983.

I still haven't seen Voyage concert yet I live in the North West of England so it would mean a 3 hour train journey down to London but due to being autistic I am scared about going to London on my own its somewhere unfamiliar to me so I would need a friend to go with me I haven't been to London since 2002 21 years ago when I was 12.

I am constantly telling people that ABBA have lots more songs than whats on ABBA Gold it really annoys me when radio stations play the biggest hits although a few weeks ago I did hear 'Under Attack' being played which I was thrilled about its one of ABBA's best and most underrated songs and its not played very often on the radio I always request 'Under Attack' at parties I do wish the radio stations would play more of the album songs and B-Sides some amazing songs on the 9 studio albums.

I have been listening to Click Track alot the last few days and I have noticed that Agnetha sings two lines differently to the actual lyrics
Agnetha sings 'Losing downtown' and the lyrics are 'Using down time' and then she sings 'scan the screen' and the lyrics are 'scanning the screen' so which is correct
I actually love Agnetha's vocals on 'Click Track' it showcases her lower notes very well which you don't hear very often and the way she talk sings the first verse and her Swedish accent comes through very strong its an unusual style of song for her and what exactly is the song about and what is a Click Track.

Elvis Costello wrote a song called 'Shatterproof' which was intended to be included on Agnetha's 1985 album 'Eyes Of A Woman' but it was never included there are various statements that say Agnetha did record 'Shatterproof' and then decided not release it after she wasn't happy with how it turned out and some statements say she didn't record it at all.
If a recording of 'Shatterproof' does exist then it will be interesting to hear Agnetha's version of the song and compare it to the version recorded by Billy Bremner if the statements that Agnetha didn't record 'Shatterproof' are true then I wonder why she decided not to record it.

I agree it's probably too late to record a new album. But what if it's already finished? Is it completely insane to think that they liked the Voyage experience so much that they continued to record in secret after the album's release? I mean... it would be a perfect end to their story if they were able to release one last album for their 50th anniversary in 2024. And I believe that the anniversary alone will draw a lot of media attention and thus there will be enough promotion. Unlikely, I know, but it's nice to dream a little bit longer. I have been thinking that they could have been in the studio recording more songs and Agnetha shushing the reporter at the Voyage media launch when asked if they would do more was clear hint that they were planning to record more songs why would she shush him if they weren't and if they were not doing anymore they would have said no even Benny gave a sarcastic 'no' which I took as though they knew more songs were going to be made. 31st May 2023 marks the 40th anniversary since Agnetha released her first English solo album 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' I hope it gets the same Deluxe treatment that Frida's 'Something's Going On' got in 2015 it would also be nice if Deluxe Editions of 'Eyes Of A Woman' & 'Shine' were released as well.
