Here’s the Belgium chart history video. This was the country with the most No.1 ABBA singles.

I have been requested to do a chart history video for Blondie.
Unfortunately, the video is blocked for viewers from Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

The German Chart History video is scheduled to premiere in an hour, at 12 (GMT) Thought I’d try the premiere feature. But I’m not too sure how to share the link for this one so far. The video will be on my channel here, anyway. youtube.com/channel/UCQfAW_hhs8n_hNPLYTamtlA

Here’s the USA Billboard Hot 100 chart history video, which was quite fun to do. You might notice that I’ve excluded some months between 1978-1979 and the whole of 1984, for instance, due to a lack of songs being released and charted. I think they made a huge mistakes by not releasing Summer Night City (Which could’ve been released soon after the decline of Take A Chance On Me in this chart), as well as releasing Gimme Gimme Gimme months after the 1979 tour and when Greatest Hits Vol. 2 was released.
I’m also aware that People Need Love achieved No.114/117, but this was in the Record World and Cashbox Charts. If I can find the chart information for these chart systems, I might do a separate videos for these, if possible. Let me know what you think about this video.

If this might interest you, I’ve seen a couple of chart history videos in the past, but there weren’t any for ABBA. I’ve jumped at the chance of creating one. This might help visualise how well ABBA did in the UK Singles charts. As I’ve took the information from the UK chart website, I don’t know if there are any errors.
I’ve also created the USA Billboard Hot 100 chart history video, which I just need to post. However, the Swedish chart history video is proving quite difficult to do, due to the strange chart system.

I’ve bought a few singles from this box set on blue vinyl from here and there. So I’m after an empty box. How much do you reckon an empty box would go for?

An extended version of Twist In The Dark would’ve been so good. Do you know if extended mixes are generally produced during the recording sessions or assembled afterwards (around the release of a single for example)? Do you get what I mean?

What is the Knowing Me, Knowing You UK Tranco transparent vinyl? Not heard of that one. Is Tranco the label? Guessing you’re still waiting for prices to come down on the Super Trouper-era 7” picture discs? Tranco might’ve been the name of the pressing plant/factory or whatever it’s called. I’d say the epic label’s identical to the normal ones. Here’s the discogs page.
I’ve managed to take a picture, holding the record up to the light. Yeah, I am waiting for the prices to come down for the Super Trouper singles. I was lucky last year as I bought some of the Voulez-Vous picture discs for around £2-£6 online. Has everyone else added more to your collections last year?

Heart Of The Country was the last UK single by Frida. 7” and 12” singles were released for this song but it failed to chart. The 7” version differed to the version on the Shine album and 12” as it featured an earlier fade out. Here’s a video I made for the single edit. What’s your opinion of this song? Personally, I think it is one of the weaker songs off the Shine album and was completely the wrong choice for a single. I think Twist In The Dark or One Little Lie would’ve been better choices for a single instead of this. Does anybody have memories of this song back in the 80’s?

Wow. I would be interested in the lacquers of If It Wasn’t For The Nights and Dancing Queen but they’re way out of my price range. I’m wondering if If It Wasn’t For The Nights differs from the official version. I’m hoping that the person who buys these shares them onto YouTube or something so we can hear what these 4 songs sound like.

Surely it would make more sense for ABBA (1975 album) to be released in 2015 as it would be the 50th anniversary. It would really bug me if it‘s going to be released before that.

It’s also the same case for The Album title on the inner sleeve. While they reproduced the logo and titles nicely, the font that they’ve used here is different to the original. I think they used the same font from the outer box.

No. 1 is definitely the original Greatest Hits - UK, US and a few other countries. No. 6, I think is the Ring Ring album but I wouldn’t have a clue what else it appeared on, except for perhaps the Love Isn’t Easy single. Out of interest, are any UK/Ireland-only fonts included here? I’m thinking: Waterloo album - ABBA name, individual members’ names and album name (all front cover) Angeleyes/Voulez-Vous I Have A Dream Lay All Your Love on Me One of Us Head Over Heels Thank You For The Music (single and album) If not, what were the fonts used for these? Greatest Hits is correct You’ll have to give a more detailed answer for No. 6. The Ring Ring album uses the Gill Sans font. The group name is in bold and the album title is Ultra Bold. The UK Waterloo album name font is Dynamo. It’s very close to Kabel Black and Blippo. The ABBA name uses the Premier shaded font and the member names is in Avant Garde. None of the UK fonts are on this game list. I Have A Dream, The Winner Takes It All, Lay All Your Love On Me and One Of Us uses Helvetica Neue. Angeleyes and Thank You For The Music probably uses the same font but a different weight. Angeleyes looks a bit thicker and Thank You For The Music looks thinner. And as for Head Over Heels, I’m not sure which font they used. It’s probably a font that’s right under our noses.
