Also, take the group title/logo font, the fonts used on the song titles or any additional text into account.

You don’t have to take turns. You can answer as many as you can. The only clue that I can really give is that the first 2 fonts were only used on an album/compilation. I would use Discogs and 45cat to look if I were you.

Well just to be biased I'll say the Super Trouper one. Is the Balloon in the cover of the Super Trouper/The Piper single? Yes. There is another cover where the Balloon font was use. supertrouper: 1 point

This is Where Is The Font From? A game where you have to identify where the fonts have been used on an ABBA cover. These fonts are mainly from ABBA singles. Though there are a few fonts from albums and Frida/Agnetha releases. There may be a few instances where the font was on the back cover instead of the front. The numbers in the list below indicates each time the font has appeared on an ABBA cover. I will be using points for everytime a font has been identified. Here's an example. The font Normande Italic was used on the covers of Nina Pretty Ballerina and Does Your Mother Know and you could potentially get 2 points.

While I can see that the pictures used on the covers are a bit blurry as compared to the original releases, I have to say that the colour grading is brilliant and gives the albums a fresh look and the fonts are well defined and is aesthetically pleasing.

For those who have had this boxset today, what do you think of it? I love it. I think it’s a brilliant boxset. The packaging is amazing and the colours of the vinyl is outstanding. The coloured vinyl for Ring Ring, Voulez-Vous and The Visitors really catches your eyes.

It makes me wonder how The Winner Takes It All will be approached on a picture disc because the original artwork won’t be able to fit without cropping the logo and title like the first picture. Would they resort to something similar to the second picture? What do you think?

I think they released the half-speed remaster, the picture discs and the singles boxset for Arrival, The Album and Voulez-Vous on the same day. I would imagine they would do the same for Super Trouper.

Couldn’t they have played Tropical Loveland instead which was the B-Side to Fernando for a change?

It would’ve been nice if they had released something to commemorate the 40th Anniversary. Even if there was a reissue of a Spanish single such as Chiquitita or Estoy Sonando.

Seven singles was too expensive. I feel pretty ripped off after the fact that you could’ve got the box set for half the price (£35 or something like that) at hmv a few months after it was released.

Would they release Happy New Year as a standalone single at the end of this year like they did in 2018 and 2019 because it’s probable that it would be included in the Singles Boxset as well.

All the magazine said was “To celebrate its 40th anniversary, there are going to be a number of releases in connection with Super Trouper later this year.” That wasn’t saying much.

Add Andante Andante to that list. It was due to be sung Live At Dick Cavett Show but it wasn’t to be.

This thread prompted me to create these labels for Honey Honey and Hasta Manana as the B-Side. I tried to keep it as accurate as possible. I should’ve made the song titles spacing longer. Imagine picking this single up in a record shop.

I’ve compiled a bit of statistics here with the total and averages for each album. The Ring Ring album had the lowest total and average which is understandable due to the fact the only song from this album scored low. Depsite SOS being the winning song, the other songs bought the average of the songs from ABBA (1975) down a bit. That album had the 3rd highest average with Arrival being 1st followed by Super Trouper in 2nd place. It was interesting that The Visitors total and average is quite low. However, the 2 bonus tracks does bump it up. What are your thoughts?
