To get us in the mood for our postman delivering us a load of ABBA goodies in the next few days, I thought I'd post a cover photo of the Arrival Singles box set. An outtake from the Arrival photo sessions. Taken forty years ago and never seen the light of day! Until now...

A bit of a mystery as to what has happened to KMKY. They have been delayed for some reason. I got three picture discs so far, just waiting for KMKY to land.

Yes, that's what I thought over the signed card thing. Just shows that she really cared about this release and that it was a nice gesture for us. I was hoping for a coloured vinyl issue of (IKTSGO)or a picture disc 7'' using the same artwork as the box lid. As it is, I am happy I got a set in the first place so I should complain too much.

As her birthday is in November, we won't have too long to wait now. Another month and then Universal may be more specific with what they are planning. Coloured vinyl or picture disc would suit most of us on here I think. Then we got Agnethas' 70th to look forward to :-)

One of the best badge designs around. Not many of these were produced as opposed to the 'Dancing Queen' badge which was manufactured in the thousands I suspect. You are right - there are maybe 3 designs that stood out from the rest, and this is definitely one of them. The best ones are the hardest to find of course - and yes, Dancing Queen badge was certainly more mass produced. I guess that's ok though - makes the hard to find ones a nice rarity The badge I have shown is one of the three rare designs as you state. But which are the other two? Do you mean the one with the girls on? What's the third one ?

Looking back they could have released this in time for the Christmas in 1979.
The last concert was on the 10th of November and this would have given the record company plenty of time to put something out.
What a shame they didn't at the time.
I' still keeping my fingers crossed for a picture disc version of this release maybe ?

The picture on the top row (left) is the cover of the Live album taken from a different angle.
It looks like it to me anyway.
What does everybody else think ?

Well fingers crossed then for something extra special in time for Christmas or the New Year. If this live album is a big success unlike the 1986 release they may well make the effort and put out something for us collectors to cherish. :-)

This is a pen and ink image done by me nearly twenty years ago. It was from ABBA The Movie and image wise it captures the group at their best.

Hello Everyone,
We don't know each other on here but we've all got one thing in common - an appreciation of great Pop Music !
I am 44 years young (as I prefer to say) and was aware of ABBA from around the Fernando period. By the time dancing Queen came out I was well and truly addicted, and still am.
It's funny how after all these years I cannot let go.
Looking forward to hearing some of your stories on here, they would be very interesting to hear :-)
Best wishes to all on this website
Julian.

Would like to get those large tin badges from the Australian Tour of 1977.
I want the following... Group photo wearing kimono outfits, two girls on their own and the group photo of them all waving.
Here's hoping somebody out there can help me out in any way :-)

These were available at all British Fun Fairs as a consolation prize from the sideshows that were available at the time. The paper is only 60 gram weight so the print quality is not as sharp as those large posters that we used to see in W. H. SMITHS or Woolworths way back in the 70s. However, most of these would have been thrown away by now, so I feel blessed to have had the chance to acquire one of these treasures.

So there is going to be quite a few of us eagerly waiting to get our little paws on this new gem. This is something NEW for a change and not just a re-issue of a studio album. Can't wait to get the gatefold vinyl edition.
Just a thought though, wonder if they'll rush release a coloured vinyl edition in time for Xmas :-)
