I love that photo too. It must be recent, with the snow. Perhaps it's from the filming of the LT video

Personally I would like to see a video with ABBAtars performing the song combined with shots featuring the real ABBA members (just walking together through snow-filled streets would be enough for me).

I'm sure there must be a live recording of One Man, One Woman from the early US dates too. One Man, One Woman was performed only during the first night at Toronto and that show unfortunately wasn't recorded it seems. However, reportedly there is a recording from the rehearsals. Another song rehearsed but not performed was My Love, My Life.

Interesting! I hadn't heard about the inclusion of My Love, My Life. I wonder if they were worried about the impact ballads would have on the pace and energy of the set? Also, some of the notes in MLML are very high - I imagine they might have been a strain to perform night after night. But it's fantastic that those recordings exist and that might might possibly inform the content of the new shows.

^ C. M. Palm writes that this rendition of MLML was "not very successful". Still I would like to hear it. Moreover, vocals is what counts, as the backing will be provided by a live band during the ABBAtar concerts.

My Voyage collection. Not even complete as I forgot to get out the ISHFIY 7” vinyl, and obviously Little Things isn’t out until Friday. I look at it myself and think, “What the… six of the same?!” With two on CD, it’s eight editions altogether. And then I worked out that I’ve got eight of all the other studio albums too, though in those cases it’s the other way round: six CDs and two vinyl. And they were acquired over 25 years! My eight Voyage was in just four weeks! It’s a one-off… unless ABBA do decide to record another album…

It's simple... you had to catch up with the other studio albums to make the numbers even However, up until now you had eight studio album eight times. With the release of Voyage you will have to add one copy of each studio album to have nine albums nine times But I guess Universal will find a way. A box with all night albums is inevitable. I have the same things as you, only instead of picture discs I bought the black and white LPs (well, I have bought the picture discs initially but I have sent them back). Oh, and I have one more CD - standard jewel case, because I somehow felt that this standard version is "essential" and also most durable, so that's the one I play.

Just had a notification from HMV to say that they cannot supply the LT single for the release day because they haven't received the stock.

An additional CD of Waterloo, and additional vinyl versions of The Album, Voulez-Vous, Super Trouper and The Visitors. But no, unless there is a deluxe of Voyage with additional tracks, I’m stopping at eight!

Not sure if anyone’s seen this interview but a friend alerted me to it. It was done for German TV.
At 11:12, Benny is asked if they were tempted to put more songs on the album. Benny says there were 12, but two are “resting” and “not really finished” and that they decided they “shouldn’t be in now” but that they’re “sort of good stuff” though need more work from him.
From Benny, who’s usually quick to dash any hopes, this is slightly optimistic. The only previous interview I’ve seen/read about the two other tracks was that they will remain unfinished and that’s the end of the matter.
The “shouldn’t be in now” comment I’m reading more into. Not as part of the main album on its original release, maybe, but perhaps to be added to a future deluxe edition? In other words, b-sides in all but name. “Sort of good stuff” is far more optimistic than the “we didn’t like it” that he said about Just Like That.

Hello Alan
Someone put that video up a few weeks back and I commented at the time that I felt that THE WAY this interviewer conducted the interview was the key to Benny's chattiness. She started with his childhood (it is the first time I recall him mentioning his mother) and asked very simple questions and THEN SHUT UP. The camera is not even on her.
Overall it is a fantastic interview and I would love this interviewer to interview the others too. Agnetha would say much more when speaking in Swedish to a Swedish or Norwegian interviewer.
(Here she is on Skavlan :

Thanks Alan - that does seem to be a more positive spin on the two unfinished songs. However, Ben is very keen to emphasise that they won't be doing any more stuff in the future, perhaps clearer than the last time he was asked which is a shame. Wonder if he feels the same about the BAO Orchestra, and he's effectively announcing his own retirement from the music world?

Love the New Abba Photo! There is a 16 sec clip of LT. Video posted. There is so much to see in there. Looks like one of the ladies? Maybe Abba appear in the New Video!! After all these years!! What an emotional few months it has been, l love Voyage' even JAN which l was unsure of at the beginning, but it fits right in there.
Thanks for Videos of Agnetha and Benny, will watch later.
Maybe not the end of Abba? Next year 50th Anniversary, although wishful thinking, l would love Abba to release an ALBUM Retrospective of maybe early Abba but mainly B&B Catalogue Musicals, Gemini Josephine material, covered by Abba. BAO are releasing a cover of the ABBA song OMOW on CD 10th of December, so why can't Abba cover B&B BAO they have already in a way with a couple of songs off Voyage'.
Alan your Voyage' Collection is impressive!! Although you don't care much for the White version, that would of been my first choice,
I don't live in UK now, but l asked a family member to order the yellow, and CD deluxe from HMV. But l didn't realize until they sent photos, l got the orange, which l like anyhow.
Just to put it out there, now that UK is not in the EU, l was sent a parcel from UK from family, and cost me a shocking 45 quid to receive the 10kg parcel to me here in a EU Country, Before the exit would of been Zero!!

He was clear there wouldn’t be another album, but for the two unfinished songs, he seemed to indicate that he needs to do more work on them (suggesting Agnetha’s, Frida’s and Björn’s work is finished?).

I suspect Benny may have had the record company trying to twist his arm over the two extra songs, regarding material for a Deluxe re-issue next year

It will be dilemma time when and If there is a deluxe version... Do we buy Voyage again !
Guessing that there will be 2 new tracks at least.. come on we all know it will be those two hinted at tracks...... or even more or possible alternative versions of tracks already released.
I know, Ill succumb to at least the two tracks to have them, more would be a bonus....but would you buy all the inevitable versions ...again...
I have to agree with Benny ( in his above interview) and it hurts, as we all want more, but as he says.. "Christ ! Ill be 75" ... alas all to true, it has to stop somewhere..but he'll carry on until his dying day in composition.. and hey its only another year ..lol.. out on a high ?
PS.. the first 16 seconds of Little Things video has been released on Twitter......

Oh yes, I will definitely buy a deluxe edition if there is one. But I don't suppose there would be so many versions as with the original release. Definitely a CD, a vinyl depends on the total lenght of the final release, so if there are more than two tracks, it's more or less out of question, unless they decide to make it a double LP... And there is probably not enough material (audio or visual) to release a deluxe and super deluxe versions (as Beatles have done with the recent reissues of some of their albums). I think it's more likely we will get a half-speed mastered vinyl at some point in the future.

I'd love to hear The Winner Takes It All sung by Agnetha as she is now. Or even Frida! Oooh..sacrilege! I don't give a toss about high notes or lost octaves. I have often thought through the years that in some ways The Winner Takes It All seemed more representative of how Frida MAY have felt during/after the break up with Benny (of course none of us could possibly know and it's all water under the bridge now anyway) whereas When All Is Said And Done could be Agnetha's reaction to the split from Björn. Who knows? Obviously, their interpretative skills were put to great use on both songs, whatever the reality.
I am ITCHING to go to that concert and getting more and more miffed by the second with people banging on at me about how it's "just holograms" and "what's the point?", etc. Just shut up and let people be excited and happy, ffs. Life's grim enough as it is.
The more I listen to Little Things the more I appreciate it, despite Christmas not being something I adhere to whatsoever. AꓭBA really got this right. As Christmas songs go, it's a cracker. I know, I know...I'm wasted here.

I agree both Agnetha and Frida's art of story telling can be interpreted in many ways especially within songs like TWTIA and WAISAD. However, I am open minded in my views in respect of the songs performed now. I'm not ruling it out but I'm not sure to be honest. I have grown to love LT and it is the perfect song to be released in time for Christmas. Lovely joint vocals from Frida and Agnetha. After listening to " Voyage " constantly, I absolutely love BB, ICBTW and OTF. Simply outstanding. " Voyage " is a terrific album. An eclectic mix of great tracks.

People are reading/hoping for too much from that Benny interview.
No more albums No more songs
He must be stupid to mention two unfinished tracks when there are so many "sweaty, obsessive fans" around.
A deluxe edition would be a rip off in any case.

"Never say never", "you never know". Thats what theyve said and now where are we? An album , singles ,concert, grammys, picture of the 4 together , a music video. Bennys smart ,not stupid , to mention those 2 tracks. Just my opinion

Why such negativity? A rip off? Not for me... It is a comeback of a century and it was absolutely clear that Universal will want to make the most of it. Somebody said there were 30+ versions of Voyage (I haven't counted them myself). What difference does one more make? And if it means we will get more new music, I don't object. As was pointed out already, many artists do that. I don't know if we're making up too much from that Benny interview but it certainly sounded positive. I don't suppose there will be another album but a few more tracks? I think they can be tempted. And if not, so be it. They have already given us much more than we ever dared to hope for.

I can't imagine who would watch this more than once, except for the parents of the children featured in the clip. It looks like an advertisement for the Voyage concerts and not a video for a Christmas song. I expected something highly sentimental but the opposite is true - no emotions at all...

That video is just... meh. An Ikea ad has more imagination and soul than this. It would have taken just a few "little things" (pun intended) to elevate this. For instance, imagine even a brief scene with kids facetiming their grandparents (played by, oooh, who can say? Do we know any 70somethings with a single to sell?)? Or a member or four of ABBA watching phone footage of the kids' performance on YouTube and hitting the like button?
I knew I wasn't going to be overwhelmed by the video. I was hoping at least to be "whelmed" (if that's even a word) but I am distinctly underwhelmed instead. Sigh.
