Ah, that’s my theory out then, Michal. With Michel mentioning 4pm, I wondered if that was the standard start time (even though there are time differences anyway).

At the cinema where I booked 29 seats are taken up till now so I guess I won't be alone singing and dancing to the lyric videos.

Plenty of time though, and some might just turn up on the day. I remember going to see Kate Bush’s film, The Line, The Cross and The Curve back in 1994. It had four showings and I went to three of them. Hardly anyone else in there, and on the last occasion I think I was the only person there! Although I think this is to help promote Voyage, I also wonder if it will only attract hardcore fans. The more casual fan will be content with the DVD or Blu-Ray, or even just a TV showing (it’s been on enough times, certainly in the UK).

Looking forward to this immensely, not so much the bits where that shady geezer is running around trying dodge Lou Carpenter from Neighbours, but mostly the bits where Agnetha is singing and doing her thing.

Looking forward to this immensely, not so much the bits where that shady geezer is running around trying dodge Lou Carpenter from Neighbours… Tom Oliver plays quite a few characters in the film but my favourite is the taxi driver who just rambles on and on (“Tightest pair of white slacks” etc). I like that there’s humour in it and ABBA were fine with being the butt of a joke.

Has anybody watched the trailer? I did today and was a bit disgruntled by the fact, that the extras include "three official lyric videos". That's at least ten minutes of precious time completely wasted in my opinion...

Note to self: I must get my act into gear if I want to see this!

My favorite parts of the film are Tiger & Eagle. Agnetha and Frida pawing at the audience is just so cute.

This is the most popular review of ABBA: The Movie on the popular social media film site Letterboxd, posted by a user on that website:
Hope at least some of you enjoy the humour and genuine affection for the film expressed in this review.
