After the debut in P3's "Midnight Hour" in February 1971, both Stikkan Andersson and MNW wanted to record the group. Stikkan was already in touch the day after Hola's radio performance and in the spring of 1971, it seemed that Hoola's debut LP would be released by the man who, a few years later, would become the musical movement's symbol for commercial and extinct schlager pop. You can only speculate about this, but had not MNW shown interest... then it would have been Stikkan. Clearly. Most important of all was to make an LP. I was 25 years old and had been waiting for my music for a long time, said Wiehe. The choice finally fell on MNW, mainly due to the fact that the other subsidiary's other productions in Hoola's ears made more exciting than the patented Schlagerhits Stikkan at that time handed out to Polar. And in the fall of 1971, Hoola Bandoola Band debuted with the LP "Garanterat individuell".
