Never been and wouldn’t be interested, not my thing really. Not sure any of the regulars on here are into that kind of thing (but anyone feel free to prove me wrong!!)

Thanks for that, Alan. I think maybe some of the old ABBA4Ever crew used to go. I've never been but if not this year, then when? So I'm heading over with mymamasaid and will report back to ABBAChat! Rumour has it one of the band might show up, but that's rumours for you.

I've been planning my first visit for 20+ years and with every passing year it's getting more unlikely. But you're right that 2024 is probably a good reason. However, out of the events already announced the one in Stockholm seems the most appealing to me - I feel that more than one ABBA member will appear there.

Yes, I will be in Roosendaal for ABBA Weekend 2024. My first one was in 2005, and since then I have only missed one held there, due to work commitments. On the 3 occasions the fan weekend was in Stockholm since then, I went to the first one but missed the subsequent two.

PS None of the ABBA members have ever been in Roosendaal for the Fan Club weekend, nor has it ever been expected that they would. However, previous guests have included Görel Hanser, Ludvig Andersson, Anders Hanser, Rune Söderqvist, Owe Sandström and a host of other ABBA-related people... I would think every visitor would have a most enjoyable time.

I got back from my first Roo last night, having missed the trip to Waterloo which looked pretty cool from the pictures on Facebook that I saw. Slightly rueing that miss, and slightly shattered too... |

The ABBA expo was very good at Waterloo in my view - the very best made of a small space, but well worked out - and something for both the fan and the casual observer in the detail.
I also wanted to climb the memorial to the top, but sudden gusts of wind along the grass there put me off.
