My wife has just been watching a film called The Cry on True Entertainment. In it, Emma Cunniffe looks a lot like Frida imho. Unfortunately I can't find any useable images or video clips from the film, so we will have to make do with stock photos. What do you reckon, is there any resemblance?
Hello! New member here! In my opinion, I think Elisabeth Sladen (who played Sarah Jane Smith) might be among of the people who look a tad bit like Frida, specifically the Ensam era with her long bob haircut (Lis wore a shorter version of it in a Doctor Who serial called "Robot" in Nov. 1974)
Though the jaws are obviously different and her nose is rather distinct to be considered a 'Lookalyngstad', I noticed some slight similarities between Lis and Frida's hairstyle and their eyes [There seemed to be some photos whereas Frida squints, so it took a while to track it down], as well. it's not as exact, but somewhat acceptable. Though, Mary Tamm [who played Romana I on the same series] would also be considered a nominee for that one, as it reminds me of a photo session of the brightly-swept-Eddy-Go-Round haircut Frida had briefly in 1975.
When I see the russian movie "Unbelievable Adventures of Italians in Russia", the actress who played the role of Olga, always reminds me of Frida. Her name is Antonia Santilli. Just look at these screenshots
And on this site even the photo of Frida is presented
Is there a room for 'hairalikes', though? I know there is a photo of Frida with the highly similar Carole King hair (Her hair made me think of Frida, at first, actually.), but maybe it was semi-influenced, leaving Frida with her distinct style... I'm talking circa 1972-1973
Looks from 'somewhat' to 'I'm seeing a tiny portion of it' like Frida, but much vulgar in terms of personality, and sounds more throaty, nasal and Illinoisian than Frida. I'm covering Slick's 1970s post-psychedelic look in this context so:
At sometime this rock and roll singer may remind me of post-Waterloo Frida, early 1975, and another time her makeup reminds me strangely a bit of Super Trouper-era Frida – except the eyes and nose are strongly different I remember seeing a photo of Frida's Super Trouper dress being worn by another lady (who doesn't look that much like Frida, and is not Gracie) with Agnetha... Perhaps it's Frida who's been inspired by loads of singers' fashion?
(Perhaps I think she's a Strong Lookalyngstad unlike the Doctor Who girls or Carole King that I posted, though I have my regards for other Lookalyngstads 😏)
When i was watching the show Leverage, I always thought that the character Sophie Devereaux/actress Gina Bellman resembled Frida a little bit. As I look at her more I see a resemblance in the general face shape, but not much else.
I have no idea why "save" keeps on appearing after all of my posts. Must be a glitch.
Germany's most beloved schlager singer of the 21st century, Helene Fischer! A close contestant of a Lookalyngstad. I wonder if Frida is half Volga German, like Helene? (If you photoshopped her hair to a brunette, the only difference you'll be seeing is height and her nose, once again (ouch)... Frida and her Mini Frida, lol) EDIT: Wait no, apparently Frida's paternal ancestry originated somewhere in Bavaria, so it's unlikely that she might have Volga ancestry; also interesting too
Nose and face is qualifiable, but the facial shape isn't as boxy nor is her eyes as small as Frida's is, so, somewhat close. That nose is a definite Lyngstad signature that Malena should play an older version of Frida (around 60 something years old) in a Lyngstad biography movie!
(You've seen this post before, but I decided to make it separate)
