When I was young I used to listen to each new Abba release non stop, after school. I listen to Abba differently now , usually as I am doing something ...getting ready, travelling or as background when reading so listening to the album of new material is quite easy for me. Not even sure how the streaming works if each track counts as a stream or you have to listen to the whole album. I like the convenience of Spotify when on the move in particular. I do listen to other artists but not with the same passion ...a track here and there , sometimes a classic album like Rumours but for the time being Voyage is my ho to. Sometimes I pick up on something new in the background. Don't think that putting the album on a loop works as they are supposed to be stringent tests in place to ensure that doesn't happen. I have also been dipping into some of the Abba catalogue and appreciating them again after a long time...Hey Hey Helen, He is your Brother, Another Town Another Train...to name a few.

I am an older user and I have embraced Spotify. I listen to Voyage on that all the time instead of the physical format which I have. Loving Spotify. For the price of a cd each month, I can listen to practically anything I want. It's like a jukebox. Don't know why older generations are so reluctant to embrace the new. I joined in September specifically to help Abba and Voyage. And I wonder why I did not sooner. Apart from my Abba collection I am now thinking of freeing myself of all the vinyl and cds freeing up storage space. I listen to Voyage when getting ready for work each day and at the end of the day. So 14 plays a week roughly. If only 1000 fans were doing that per week that would be 14000 streams. Its actually easier for me to listen to Abba on Spotify as I can listen to them on my phone anytime, anywhere.

I did a track by track comparison with Arrivsl . Song one against song one etc. Arrival 5 voyage 5. I love Bumblebee. But I do love bees and the song captures how I feel. A highlight in my opinion. LT too saccharine.

Remember my cousin thinking having heard it briefly thought HNY was called Having you near. Lyrics along those lines could have worked. Great song. Should have been a double A at the time with Andante Andante or Lay all your love on me. ..to capture the Christmas and after Christmas Market. Wondering if the new single will be Dan as it has the perfect lead into S.O.S for the Voyage concerts.

I have been litening to the last 4 tracks mostly, recently. Love the whole album....LT less so. If they do further tracks to add to album, I would prefer LT to be left off.

I love Bumble Bee and the environmental message. I think When you danced could have done with a final chorus. Seems to end abruptly. I wonder why Micheal was not involved in producing the album. The only song I am not keen on is LT. The choir and those lyrics at the end just make the whole song too twee. They could have easily extended some of the songs and left to song off the album. May have fared better as a stand alone single.

I got bored of Christmas songs years ago. However the Ed song ticks all the boxes apart from allowing Elton John on it. Elton ruins it for me. Never taken to him. I think Lay all your love on me would have to be on the playlist of the Voyage production.

Had they not taken the two biggest current acts on the planet on they would be enjoying their 6th week at number one. I still think they should have waited until next year. Adele made sure that other acts had lost momentum before releasing her album. She was not going to take any chances of being knocked off number one even for one week. Her album is the worst she has released. Running out of ideas I think.

Who cares what he thinks. Never heard of him. Strange that. The USA has a small population compared to the rest of the world. He needs to look beyond his country's borders and not be so dismissive of other countrys' charts. 9 billion people on the planet and he is only interested in the musical charts of a country with a population of 350 million people. Says it all. Abba known the world over. He known by who, where and how many? I think we all know the answer to that.

Adele comes across well on TV when chatting. But that song sucks the life out of me. Might not be the bad if she did not insist on elongating the Easy.eeeeeeeeeeeeeasy on the ear it is not. Had a quick listen to her album....not for me. Good to see Voyage climb to three in the UK. Just thinking ..had they released it next year it would probably have been the top seller of that year. Is it just me or has there been an abundance of bands reforming ...Westlife, JLS and Altered Images to name but a few?

Well that's me listening to Little Things on Spotify at every opportunity to help the Abba cause. Hopefully people will get behind it and the good cause it supports.

I just hope Little Things can chart high if not number one. It's a gentle song. That could help as a bit of variety at Christmas. Still think Just a notion could have been given the Christmas treatment. Add sleigh bells and chimes. Change the lyrics slightly to 'Just a notion , this Christmas you will be spending it with me.'...and more lyrics along those lines or even replacing 'Just a notion, that's all' with 'Happy Christmas, your my choice ' ..and develop the lyrics . Endless possibilities with the music to Just a notion lending itself to a bouncy Christmas song. Just a thought. Suspect you might be trying those lyrics out to the tune or your own. Bit of festive fun.Lol.

Yeah. Ed Xmas single ticks all the boxes..every cliche and the video is good. Unfortunately Elton ruins it for me. Ed you should have done it on your own. You don't need Elton to sell. He however does need others to make number one today or the singles chart at all.Seems people are quick to comment on The ladies' voices but not on Elton's. Was never a fan of his bit his voice does not seem as good as when he was younger.

Just like you I hear different things each time I listen....bendy sounds in ISHFIY which I later pick up on KAEOS. And I actually like JAN now. Love some of the solo material...A...in particular and from MCB the U2ish What Now My Love? That should have been the lead single. ICBTW would not have been out of place on MCB.

Maybe Elton should try getting to number one on his own. Think it would be highly unlikely he would chart as high as Abba on their own. Don't get the continual love of some Christmas songs. I am sick of most of them. Year in year out same old playlist in most shops etc for 4 weeks. Who has the time or inclination to listen to the same old for one month or their life every year? Little Things is quite refreshing in that respect. Another one is Driving Home for Christmas. But most just irritate me as I go about my shopping.

Just watched the Elton and Ed Christmas song. What is all the fuss about. Expected more from them. The song not that great. Video amusing. But the song? Not a patch on Last Christmas or some other Christmas classics. If it was not for Ed it would not have got so many views. I certainly would not have tuned in for Elton John.

Don't think the video is that bad. Think they are trying to reach out to a new generation. Must admit I am sick of hearing Slade etc. Best Christmad song Last Christmas. And as for Elton.. Step into Christmas. Instant turn off. Gavin and Stacey you have a lot to answer for.

I had problems with my copy of The Visitors too. If I remember right the album charts were revealed on a Sunday and the singles on a Tuesday. With the wealth of songs to choose from I would hope that TKHLHC and Under Attack were not part of the concerts at the expense of other tracks. Always thought The King as a weak song, especially the chorus.

Not a fan of award shows like the Oscars etc. At the Grammys some get overlooked unfairly and some get heaps of nominations undeservedly and awards. Depends on who is flavour of the month. Stopped watching them long ago. Paint drying is more entertaining.

I am sure that back in the day, fans would have been divided over new albums after Arrival...I remember not being sure of The Album at first and instantly liking Voulez Vous and Super Trouper even more and then being unsure of The Visitors. This album fits into the instant like for me. I of course grew to love The Album and The Visitors. ABBA must be chuffed to be nominated for their first Grammy. Can only be good publicity for the album stateside.

Voyage is a remarkable piece of work. I like the variety on the album and I love the flutes but then Fernando was the song that made me fall in love with Abba. Bumblebee makes me think of 'Safe in my garden' by the Mamma's and Papas. That song too had a political message.

Slipping through my fingers is one of my favourite songs. The Visitors could have benefitted from Should I laugh or cry on it. Even Just a Notion to lighten the mood. And maybe the faster choir version of Like an angel.

From the Abba album my choice for my top 2o was S.O.S. Mamma Mia just losing out. But ask me in 6 months and my song list may change. S.O.S will always ,along with a few others, be in my Top 20. I like Abba challenging new topics like climate change rather than just another relationship song. Even Dan is a relationship song with a difference. Pity not being able to hear the male response too well...suggesting that the doubt is not one sided.

I find the album fresh and varied. My only criticism would be trying to hear some of the backing lyrics a bit difficult. Think Michael might have made them a bit more hearable or used the Abba Dust he once mentioned. Abba set such high standards, its hard to pick a favourite album.

I thought about my top 20 Abba songs..one came from Waterloo, 1 from Abba, 4 from Arrival, 4 from the album, 2 from Voulez Vous 3 from Super Trouper 2 from The Visitors and three from Voyage. My three from Voyage are DSMD ISHFIY and Ode to Freedom. I love Bumblee too for its message and the beauty of the song.

That great news but makes you think is there a living to be made in music. ABBA I reckon shifted about 3 million records in the UK in 1976 alone.

Abba had the perfect follow up to Waterloo but didn't release it. HONEY HONEY became a top 10 hit for Sweet Dreams instead in the UK. Had that happened the fan base may have increased sufficiently to make So long and Idox5 bigger hits.
Little Things has been growing on me with each listen and I would still probably listen to it as part of the album outwith the festive period as I did with Happy New year when playing Super Trouper.

Could Abba be about to spoil Swift's party? I like the art work for LT. The more I hear it, it has grown on me. Might be a refreshing change from all the brashier Christmas hits.
