Hi folks,
I haven't been around these parts in quite some time. I visit almost daily for news and updates but - genuinely - feel I have little to contribute. So forgive me barging in like this.
We have been renovating the house and, today, I was putting things back in their place. I got the urge to offload some of my ABBA collection. The records/CDs/DVDs will remain, but I have a lot of books and stuff that I think I can let go.... I don't want to bin it, and I would like a charity to benefit from it. Some of the stuff has some value, but I think that a local charity shop might not know enough to benefit from it. I have annuals from 1978 to 83, the 1994 edition of The Complete Recording Sessions, the 1981 and 1982 calendars, the Magazines from 1978 to the final edition, plus ABBA For The Record, Marianne Lindvall's ABBA The Ultimate Pop Group (without the poster, sadly), the ABBA Gold book and magazine, plus the special edition of Mojo magazine and the Radio Times. I really need to do a proper list.
Anyhoo, I was thinking of offering the whole shebang on ebay in one lot, with the entire proceeds going to the Irish Hospice Foundation. Am I delusional? Does this stuff still have value? Comments, views, advice would be very welcome!

Hi Tony, There are a couple of Facebook sites specifically for fans who want to buy, sell or simply giveaway ABBA recordings and memorabilia. Unlike Ebay and Amazon, they are cutting out the dealers and other self imposed middlemen. You are also free to ask advice on what something may be worth and if prices are rising or falling in the market for certain items.

Thanks again for the advice, Danny. I managed to sell TCRS, the 1981 & 82 poster calendars, and the Bubi Heilemann book within an hour or so! Very impressive. The almost complete set of ABBA Magazines is still there, if anyone fancies them
