Finally someone really knowledgeable in this thread!...
Ah no, we have several musicians on the forum, including Richard, thisboycries, Gary and Wombat (haven't heard from the latter for a while). I jumped in because we have had similar threads in the past and I remembered the details. In fact, we both contributed to this one a couple of years ago

Thank you Shoshin for the clip, very interesting, and thank you edmfio76 for your welcome to me to the site. I thoroughly enjoy reading all the topics. Agnetha and Frida's vocals, in particular when they sing together, have always been a passion of mine. And Hometime, totally agree with you on this: "What amazes me about their singing is how precise they were together. They hit the syllables perfectly, no stuttering consonants at the ends of words. They even seem breathe at the same time"! I bet they just slipped right back into that with the new songs too!

Oh, you're right… I vaguely remembered we already talked about something similar but I've forgotten about the other thread. I know there are some other musicians but you're the only one, who took part in this discussion. And it seems you haven't answered one of my questions from the other thread:  "What I don't fully understand though is if Agnetha could go much higher if she used her head voice? You said: "Agnetha can belt more or less right to the top of her range..." Does that simply mean she can use both her chest voice and head voice in approximately the same range or could we expect her reach yet higher?" Do you know if it really is this way? |
