It may be far more subtle, than when Madonna used it, ('Hung Up' - 2005), but Ava Max
has also 'Sampled' ABBA's 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!', on her New Single - 'Torn'. If you
listen carefully, you can hear the ABBA Sample in the background. Ava seems to be the
only Artist making'Pure Pop' these days, now that Lady GaGa has abandoned the Genre...

Interesting... Does this mean they are starting to relax their attitudes towards sampling? Or will they only allow sampling of tracks that were already sampled?

It's certainly very subtle.
I couldn't help myself, could I? I had to look at a few comments. I'll never learn. People squabbling over if it's an ABBA or Madonna sample.
Arrrrgh.

If you look at the Comments beneath Madonna's 'Hung Up' on You Tube, you will see that many people don't realise that the best parts are by ABBA. They think that Madonna created it all! Other people are even sillier - they think that ABBA copied off 'Hung Up'!!!
