So the single came out and, VERY much to my grateful astonishment, it made no. 4 on the Irish iTunes chart (I have no label, no profile). If you're so moved, you can hear it on Spotify....

Tony, I have viewed your single on You Tube for the first time. What can I say, it is a fantastic song with a haunting and poignant feel to it. The melody is beautiful yet sorrowful at the same time. It reminds me of quite a few ABBA masterpieces that come to mind brought to date with a contemporary twist. You have a terrific voice. A potential pop classic ! I want to listen to it again and again. Wonderful, we need songs like this back in the charts.

That's a great track! The Eurovision winner 'Heroes' sprang into my mind; not melodically but something about the song's construction. Sometimes your voice reminds me of Editors, so I just went and listened to Papillon for the first time in years. You could make a good cover of that one ;-) |
