Hello all,
I have been browsing my collection as I attempt to reorganise and display it, and note that I don't appear to have the deluxe edition of ABBA (self-titled) released in 1975. The CD/DVD combo was released in 2012 and reissued in 2015 from what I can see.
I cannot seem to find listings online that ship to Ireland - does anyone have any recommendations?

There’s one on eBay, but it’s used and condition is described as “acceptable”. It’s £35 though (which will be slightly more in euros). The CD doesn’t offer much that the standard 2001 issue doesn’t (just Mamma Mia in Spanish, which can be found elsewhere) but the DVD has a few performances that are well worth a look. £35 seems a lot. Surely they were cheaper in hmv a few years ago? I can’t remember.

Thanks for that listing, I'll have to give one more look through my collection but I think I'll have to splurge for it! I don't know how I missed it first time round, or if I have somehow lost it since. Very frustrating!!

£35 seems a lot. Surely they were cheaper in hmv a few years ago? I can’t remember. They were readily available then, yes, but it appears they were all a somewhat limited issue. I’m surprised myself, though. I didn’t realise that they were already attracting such prices. Even “used and new” on Amazon are limited. Of the nine, only Waterloo (£19) and The Album (27) are available at all. |

There appears to be a second-hand copy of the Arrival Deluxe available through a third-party seller for £16.99 plus a quid-and-a-bit postage (which isn't much use to the OPer, I realise). |

There is one mint copy of the 2012 version on Discogs: www.discogs.com/sell/item/1101462372 However the seller is from Russia, so I'm afraid that there would be import taxes and VAT to pay for buyers from EU, so it would get much more expensive than the list price of 49€ in the end... |

Thanks everyone for the links and the help, I went for the eBay copy as I hopefully will be able to get it to ship here! Didn't realise the deluxe editions were so rare nowadays.

The 2012 issue was in a 'digipak' form, with the 2015 reissue being jewel-case.
Many of these CD/DVD 'Deluxe Editions' - of either type - are indeed now becoming very hard to find, but I see that the Official Fan Club Shop still has certain ones for sale.
