He has given an interview to BBC NEWS today. In it, he praises Agnetha as a 'terrific songwriter'.

For her song-writing in English, I really think that 'Man' is a fine example. I am also keen on 'Liselott' - the only commercially-issued song written by Agnetha, Benny and Björn together - as I think it has a curiously-haunting melody. I am not sure, though, of how the music and lyric-writing duties were carved up on this one. |

There's no doubt Agnetha was a very talented songwriter - the most convincing examples are her last two Swedish albums När En Vacker Tanke Blir En Sång and Elva Kvinnor I Ett Hus - each features just one single song she's not written herself (!). Both albums are great. Gosh, I completely forgot about " Man " . Definitely one of the stand out tracks on WYAAM. I fell in love with it after I first heard it. So beautiful.

I think Agnetha is a wonderful song-writer. In particular, "Elva kvinnor i ett hus" is a masterpiece of an album. I think "Disillusion" is a much over-looked ABBA song. And I would really have liked "Man" instead of "The Heat Is On" as the first single from WYAAM.
