When I first heard POYWS I did love the song but I was thinking the it sounded unfinished back in 1994. Then reading Carls book on the recording he said that they did ad little things to the song back then ,so why do I still feel that the song sounds unfinished does any one else feel that why too?

I think you might be right. The intro is so long that I thought it was an instrumental. And I like to kid myself that those could not have been the final lyrics... But the vocal performances are so empassioned, the vocal arrangement so tight, that it I think must have been considered finished. I can't imagine there was much agonising about whether to leave it off the album when the title track presented itself. Not a favourite for me, I'm afraid.

Yes Super Trouper is a far better song but POYWS still has its charm too

I'm surprised that they left it in the vault so long. Non-album B-sides are such treats for fans.

They did say in Carls book that POYWS was Spanish Themed overdrive and the words were to Disney like. but i think the music is wonderful.

I've never been a fan of the song. Don't know why, the vocals are great and the melody reminds me of the chorus of Cassandra, which I like a lot, but the song as whole doesn't work for me.
