I’ve only discovered this act last couple of days, I was looking to see if any act covered Get On The Carousel, and this act has. It’s interesting to hear what they have done with the song: though slightly repetitive, it’s exhilarating to hear it. Be great to hear the complete ABBA live version. The other matter is, this group has recorded a complete ABBA covers’ album: Don’t Mention The Swedes. It’s on Apple, Amazon, Spotify and YouTube if anyone interested.

Thanks for sharing that, lamont . They really sound like fans. I agree that GOTC is very repetitive - it shows that B&B were right to shelve it. But I can only imagine what an exciting live B-side it would have made for, say, Eagle - or even for SNC later in the year. Their take on Marionette is great too. Very faithful to the guitar solo and all that, but the way they approached the intro lifts it into more danceable territory - in fact, just before the vocal started, it felt like it was going to drift into The Visitors. I can imagine that this might even reflect some of the kind of tweaking/retooling that the Voyage band might engage in - bringing a bit of extra dynamic edge to the backing. I must check out their other ABBA covers now!

Repetitive but great nonetheless!! Real headbanger! I’m looking forward to sharing this with my 6 year old nephew, he already loves Tiger and Mamma Mia, I’ll add it to his wee playlist in my car, alongside Nellie The Elephant by the Toy Dolls, Ca Plane Pour Moi, Rasputin and a few others!
