Hi everyone. Had to prioritise some things for a few months but I’m back now. Meanwhile, I created a couple of album instrumental videos for Frida’s Something’s Going On, Shine and Gemini’s first album, which you might like. However, Something’s Going On and Shine got blocked on YouTube, but you can access the videos through the links in the description.

Thank you! I started with Shine - it sounds great. Hearing lots of new little things that were otherwise buried in the final mix. Hearing both Twist In The Dark and Comfort Me stripped back like this shows how epic they really are. I love the approach to guitars throughout. Steve Lillywhite really is a fantastic producer. Something's Going On seems like a much "straighter" album by comparison. The production methods seems to have given a clearer division between backing track and vocal - it seems like a cleaner set of instrumentals. While Frida explored more facets of her voice on this album, the album feels a little more staid in some respects. The Gemini album was a bit of a surprise when pared back like this. Too slow and leaden a set for me, but the production is interesting. I wonder how it might have sounded with two different voices...
