Well, it is a Spoiler thread! Another way of doing a spoiler is:

I'm officially giddy now. While the "Polar Express" comment is what we might have expected from the ISHFIY vid, the overall report sounds uh-MAZING! It looks like even those who could be counted as 'jaded' when it comes to holograms were converted. And the opening number? *chef's kiss*
I reckon there'll be a surge in ticket sales next weekend when the media covers the premiere.

I hope someone reveals the setlist tonight. I understand no photos, but I wonder if they had to sign a non-disclosure agreement?

@abbavoyage was an experience. Memorable songs and lots of people enjoying themselves. Worth a visit! #ABBA
#abbavoyage Amazing, incredible, outstanding experience. Go, just go. Just seen the #finalrehersal. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. The future has landed in the music industry.
I’m one for hyperbole. I’m a massive ABBA fan. And also a massive cynic. BUT. @abbavoyage is the most extraordinary, gasp inducing, mind-blowing, joyful, exCEPtional show I’ve ever ever ever seen. Still can’t breathe.

Well it seems the show lives up to all the hype! I must admit I was not extremely optimistic until now. What I'm really looking forward to, though, is reading a good, unbiased, balanced - and especially, a very detailed - review of it here from people like Tony and Alan once they've seen it.

I must admit that the most irksome thing about all this is that, as someone pointed out earlier, the avatars are not living people. I can't imagine, for example, smiling back at a simulation that I know isn't a real human in the same way I'd smile to a performer who is really there, in flesh and blood, reacting to me and a real crowd of real people watching them.
As real as the avatars might end up looking to me, they'll actually be programmed to smile and bow and react to a non-existent crowd that the programmers designed each avatar to react to. And they will smile and react the same way every night, whether there is a full crowd or no one is there watching them at all. So I can only imagine reacting to these simulated beings in the same way I would to watching ABBA performing on a tv or a cinema screen.
With videos, you can rewind and play back your favourite songs or sequences. With the Voyage thing, you can go to another performance and watch it all over again and wait for your favourite sequence to come again, and it will be identical, as happens when you rewind and replay a video. So, I don't know... When I watch ABBA on a screen, I know they can't respond to a huge roar of appreciation from myself or an audience, because, well... it's just a recording of them I'm/we're watching. I know they can't sense my presence or that of an audience I'm a part of, because they're not real people, and they're not really "THERE". If Agnetha winks at me, I'll know she's not really winking at me or anyone else. When Frida bows after a great song she sang lead in, I'll know she won't be able to hear the audience clapping and feel gratitude for the response we gave her that night/day/automated performance that was made once, many years ago, without me actually being there. I fear that, for these reasons, the Voyage show will leave me a bit empty, because the avatars are unable to react to a live audience, because they aren't real people.

jj, everything you said is true, but nobody ever pretended it was otherwise. I guess you have to accept the show is like going to a cinema. You can't play a scene again there either. Actually, I wonder if the technology allows for some variety. Ludvig allegedly said in one of the interviews that there is some unused footage left, so they can alter the show a bit in the future. But still I agree that seeing it once or twice is probably enough and it won't be the same as going to several concerts of a live band during one tour, where the members react differently every night. Still I expect it the show to be spectacular and breathtaking. I will be there on Thursday too, so just a few days left

Interesting Comments above, well if you are more Lucky, you both may have the Chance to see Abba in the flesh!! on Thursday, and many more prominent People.
I think we live in a more, ever increasing Interactive Visual World now, look around you and what do you see, people Communicating through a device with a Glass Screen, we are already living in Artificial Reality
Soon we will all be Humatars! In the near future, maybe;) With the Voyage' Show, l think it is Best to let your imagination takeover, and enjoy the experience, knowing the Abbatar's have a Percentage of ABBA's DNA

Setlist as reported on page 8 of Sunday People (so it must be true…. 😆) This can’t be accurate. Only 17 tracks and no mention of the reported opening song. Possibly non-Gold/Voyage tracks missed out as wouldn’t mean anything to Sunday People readers. Even the Voyage tracks are highlighted as such.

So they've left three UK No.1s off the setlist. Interesting. That said, it's also worth noting that the published setlist has only 17 songs, so they might yet be part of the set on opening night and thereafter. Also noticed that The Visitors - mentioned by someone who'd been there - is missing from that piece. Maybe the set list was different on each night?
Have to say that it's a really nice setlist.

Strange to leave out well known No.1's like Take A Chance On Me and Super Trouper when they are among the top 10 streamed songs on Spotify as well. Also doesn't mention The Visitors or Eagle which has been said are part of the show. I'll be going Thursday night so won't have to wait long!!

I don't think it's fully accurate considering we saw Take A Chance On Me on a behind the scenes photo of filming - all will be revealed soon enough!

Don't worry, Helga said the tickets would be delivered by e-mail after 23rd May. So I suppose we will have them by tomorrow evening If not, it would turn into a very expensive joke

Yes, you are a lucky bunch, those that were able to obtain tickets for the Pre-Show, l assume from The Dutch Fan Club, (not been a Member for a Long time) l hear The Swedish Royal Family are attending and lam sure Agnetha will be there also, and maybe all four will attend the official Opening Night also. It is not an enormous Venue, so should be easier to Spot them too.

I am not surprised The Name of the Game is off the setlist. I love the song but it's not a party song.
Take a Chance on Me will probably make the list - only 17 named.
I always thought Super Trouper and Fernando would br 50/50. Almost a clean sweep from Voulez Vous era with absence of I Have a Dream.
The other 3 to 5 songs that not mentioned?
Take a Chance on Me Eagle The Visitors
And hopefully a couple of pleasant surprises.

Benny said in a interview last year, that "The King hast lost his Crown" will be also a part of the show. I hope for "The day before you came"

Is there still room for any Surprises? It would be a faux Pas to Include "The King has lost his Crown" even though l hope he does.
" Just like That" or has it now been filed to the Waste Paper Bin? Would be nice if they included a song or two from pre Waterloo, Hey Helen, He's your Brother, King Kong Song, Rock N Roll Band' or a medley of a few.
