Australian fan who took this photo with Agnetha in 1983: "I was walking around Stockholm with a couple of friends from Melbourne when one of my friends thought he recognized Agnetha's red car parked (illegally) in a narrow laneway (we had been out to Lidingö a few days earlier). So we waited and sure enough, about ten minutes later Agnetha and a friend turned the corner with shopping bags! She was in a very good mood and looked great (as you can see!) and was happy to have her photo taken. A treasured memory for life for this 18 year-old at the time.."

That's better. I'm not a fan of Andy B's tinkering.

That's better. I'm not a fan of Andy B's tinkering. I agree Martin. The only tinkering is when the water marks are removed otherwise I prefer the picture as is.

To be honest, I also try to fix many of the pictures which I upload, usually by adjusting things like the brightness or colors... for example, here's the original-original of the last picture - s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/c1/40/83/c140830e3f157230cd708aed11a2b69b.jpg

^^tinkering with brightness or colors is okay also, I just don't care for skin being smoothed out, it makes the subject look unnatural. The only reason I posted that picture is it was attached to the article.

^^ I wish I knew more about that photo's time and place. If it wasn't for this image I would swear that I would immediately recognize Agnetha anywhere. On a4e several people queried whether it actually was her. If it helps to narrow down the time period, one waiting fan has a photo from the MMM sessions around November 1976. So that's the earliest it could be. I think it's this one, or similar: www.raffem.com/images/Abba5/76mmmframe1.jpg

It is just because she is looking down that people don't think it is her.

1972 SKAP party In 2013 Agnetha received the SKAP Award in Kai Gullmar's memory. Quote: "Always present and with an unparalleled presence in the history and future of Swedish music - The 2013 SKAP Award in Kai Gullmar's memory 2013 is presented to Agnetha Fältskog."
