Hello Everyone,
On Friday 3rd February 'Slipping Through My Fingers' went Silver, in the UK.
That is for 200,000+ UK Sales, since Friday 16th November 2004.
It is the 1st Non-Single ABBA Song to achieve a UK Sales Award.
Of course, it has managed it due to being in the 'Mamma Mia!' Films.
The 'Mamma Mia!' version went Silver, on Friday 17th December 2021.

Good to hear from you again Colin.
It would be interesting to know official up to date sales for all those tracks that qualify, so many conflicting figures out there, for instance we have never had sales for those late 82 singles...it’s been reported that KMKY and ST have sold over a million, but nothing official, and quite a few are close or so they say......
I guess it depends on your interpretation of sales ? And whether the data is out there to be had....... a good guess would be good ?

It's the ABBA version. The Mamma Mia one went Silver in 2021. About 10 Mamma Mia songs have gone Silver. The Winner Takes it All and Waterloo not awarded Silver discs despite selling enough. EPIC records did not apply for them 2. Back in the day no multiple platinum awards so Arrival, The Album, Voulez Vous, Super Trouper, The Visitors and Greatest Hits vol 2 miss out. Possibly The Singles too. Greatest Hits is Platinum x 8 as that is a special case, one of All Time Best Sellers 3.
