When I started a Rick Beato thread some while back in the 'Everything Else' section of this forum - because I think he has interesting and worthwhile things to say about music and musicians, especially in pop and rock - I also said I hoped he would discuss ABBA eventually. But as time moved on it didn't seem likely.
Well, as of this writing, he is in Sweden, actually Stockholm, for the first time, for an engagement - though not, I think, specifically related to ABBA. But of course he mentions them in this video - in positive terms - along with other Swedish artists.
When he talks about his 'not having the ABBA tracks', I assume he means that he doesn't have access to the multi-tracks to better understand the makeup of a recording. But l hope he will still focus, before too long, on an ABBA song for his 'What Makes This Song Great?' feature on his YouTube channel. I really appreciate and gain a lot from these discussions.
