Off to see the tribute act ABBA Forever at the Wyvern theatre in Swindon tonight. Have seen them before. Pretty good but they shoehorn more songs into the set by truncating some of them a bit - e.g. a much-abridged version of Eagle and, IIRC, the odd mini-medley. Question is, would you rather have fewer songs but full versions, or more songs and shorter versions? The former for me, I think.

Yes, I remember reading that story too. Not sure why they got singled out and the case doesn't seem to have taken the wind out of the sails of other tribute acts with ABBA in their names. Nor am I aware of the issue spilling over into other bands' tribute acts - and I'm speaking as someone who, since that story was published, has seen Totally Blondie, Pop-up Bowie and Ultimate Coldplay, as well as 21st Century ABBA. Watch this space, I guess.

I'm with you @thisboycries, you want an experience that's as close to seeing the original live performance IMO.
