On May 31, the king will hold an awards ceremony, when Swedes who have made "exceptional efforts" will be presented with knighthoods.
According to the court, it is the first time in 50 years that these will be awarded, and the list of names has been drawn up in consultation with the government.
On it can be found, among others, Lieutenant General Dennis Gyllensporre, who becomes commander of the first degree of the Royal Order of the Sword "for extraordinary leadership under war-like conditions in Mali".
The list also includes the Abba quartet Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Agneta Fältskog, who 50 years after the Eurovision win with "Waterloo" will become commanders of the first class of the Vasa Order.
"For very outstanding efforts in Swedish and international music life" writes the court in a press release.
