I been listening to some early stuff featuring Ola on drums and very good it was. As in an interview I have found even Bjorn and Benny said a very good on ABBA live concerts what do you think of his drumming I think he is good doing it,
What do you think of his drumming? .

I'm not an expert on drumming so I can't say much but I suppose he must have been good, otherwise Benny and Björn wouldn't have chosen him. However, I feel that drums are not a very prominent feature on most ABBA recordings. So with a few exceptions (e.g. Soldiers, where he invented the unusual rhythm), I guess his work was maybe much too easy 🙂

I'm not an expert on drumming so I can't say much...[...] Nor me. In fact, in all the years I've been listening to ABBA, I haven't paid as much attention to the drumming - and bass lines - in their recordings as I should have. I like both the Beatles and ABBA, and I've been aware, far more, of Macca's bass playing (in The Beatles, Wings, and his solo albums) and Ringo's drumming. And perhaps someone with better hearing can put me right: Is there a bit of bass drum pedal squeak in Should I Laugh Or Cry, or am I imagining things?

Tte drums are the lead instrument on the song I know.
