When Frida was climbing the charts in Sweden with "Djupa Andetag" , Agnetha had also released the compilation "my love my life" . Obviously you cannot compare both releases , totallly different animals, one a new album after 12 years of inactivity, with a huge promotion on TV and press, the other a compilation , probably pushed only by the record label. But Swedish press couldn't pass the opportunity to make it a competition between Frida and Agnetha. Here the article from Aftonbladet

Frida beat Agnetha
Abborna's (Abborna is the word abba with the suffix “orna”, definite plural in Swedish, then the translation would be “The ABBAs”, I prefer to use the original Swedish word in this case) fight on the Swedish top list was uneven
The duel between Abborna was a pure Tyson event and the winner by knockout is - Frida. Frida's CD "Djupa andetag" beat Agnetha's "My love my life" with 20 positions on the Swedish chart.
Bang up to first place. And a deep breath of relief for Frida
- It's crazy that it went so well so quickly, this record means a lot to me, she said spontaneously to Aftonbladet after the news reached her home in Switzerland.
At the time of writing, the album "Djupa andetag" has been out for two weeks and the record is already noted for 40,000 copies sold, the gold record limit of 50,000 copies is expected to be passed next week. In Norway, the record entered 17th place as a newcomer in Finland at number 37.
Can be big all over the world.
But it is expected to climb, and the interest extends further into the world, says Marie Ledin, from Anderson Records.
- ABBA fans from abroad are calling and want to buy the record. A girl from Texas and several from Australia.
But the disc will not be released there, so they will have to buy it via Swedish stores. An English version of the disc is also not currently available.
Agnetha then?
Well, her biography "As I am" may not have been the driving force behind the hit collection "My love my life" that the record company had hoped for. Much because she didn't even bother to show up at the press conference, let alone give any interviews. Bad footwork there.
Footnote: The ABBA boys Björn and Benny will release the triple CD "Kristina from Duvemåla" later this autumn.
