Yes folks it is the anniversary by day and date of the Transatlantic Concert, Live Aid in Aid of the Ethipoian famine.
A few points
1. A major achievement and some very good performances
1. Unfortunately thus and the Band Aid single from the previous Christmas gave that awful Bob Geldof a much higher profile.
3. The most memorable- and moving part was this video made by Canadian TV to the song Drive by the Cars with backdrop of starving people.
