From the Ginza website: An extremely exclusive ABBA product, namely its own Monopoly. The product is sold in a limited edition and the whole game is created by ABBA classic brand. Instead of streets to buy the band's albums and playing pieces consist of classic ABBA modified products such as a money bag (Money Money Money), a dance shoe and Napoleon hat. The game language is English to reflect the international status of the band have and to not exclude any consumer. www.ginza.se/product/abba-monopoly/61229/369 kronor - which is about $59.00AUD - plus postage from Sweden Release date 5 November 2014

Just read that this us still in the pipeline nothing yet is confirmed. Apoarentley they are still putting this together and will be released next year. From a source at another blog. So not sure what is going on. I think if official we will either hear from museum or official site Maxisaxi New Zealand

It is available to purchase on the Ginza site, so it must already be in the process of being made. Surely that means it has gone beyond the pipeline stage. I have asked the Museum if they will be selling it. No reply yet. I hope to see it advertised through more 'official' avenues, but have no doubt it will be available in early November as stated

I hope they use a different cover since that picture is already being used for Live at Wembley I hope the finished product has a totally different theme to the cover. I think the 1979 Tour theme has been utilised enough now. Plus I think those images have no personal connection for many fans - either because those fans were not around at the time of that tour, or because that tour did not include their country. No, I am not pouting ! lol And I do have to be honest, their new look and the costumes for the 1979 tour are not my favourite from the ABBA era, so I'm not terribly excited at new products all featuring the 1979 images. Time for a bit of creativity from the graphics department ! Besides, now that Live At Wembley Arena has been released, I feel that the images don't belong on any other items - especially non tour related items. Just my personal opinion ... Something totally different than what has been used over & over would be really nice too. So many wonderful images of ABBA - so few used. Here's hoping that I'll be pleasantly surprised when I see the actual finished product

I agree Roxy I think they should use either the cat costumes or the 75 tour costumes or my favorite the black outfits they looked so classy in those also.
And no you're not pouting at all! Just like I am not pouting because they were here in 79 in Seattle and I wasn't allowed to go but that is another story!! LOL

The player pieces are fabulous ! I see from the proof sheet though that the lid will obviously have the 1979 Tour image - shame about that.
