The first trailer (there already was a teaser earlier this year) will be shown before the film " The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" which opens November 19. Very good promotion for CIRKELN.

‘Cirkeln’ soundtrack album confirmed Benny Andersson has told icethesite that a Cirkeln soundtrack album is definitely on the way. “We intend to release it as soon as possible,” he said. “However, we will not make a CD, it will only be a digital release and of course, we shall also create a Circle playlist on Spotify.” “I’ll pick the parts of the score that are not too brief and will probably present the music in the same order that it runs in the film,” Benny told us. BENNY AND LUDVIG INTERVIEW FOR SF BIO In an interview for cinema chain SF Bio Benny tells that doing new things, in this case a film, gives energy and extends one's life. Ludvig explains that mainly his work on CIRKELN has been sitting around a table (with Benny, director and script writer) and speak about the project. Before the work began, Benny read books about film making. There are two things that stand in all books: don't startfilming before you feel the script is good and casting is done. That's how Benny also did. Visiting the set was not really Benny's thing. He felt he was in the way. Here are some of the reviews so far: CIRKEN REVIEW/ SVENSKA DAGBLADET Tove Bengtssson writes a long, very positive review (4 of 6 points) and hopes that the two other novels will be as magically well made as the first one. CIRKEN REVIEW/ KOMMUNALARBETAREN Full 5 points for CIRKELN. CIRKEN REVIEW / UPPSALA NYA TIDNING Also UNT's critic Karoline Bergström that there would have use to "kill your darlings", the film is too long. But she wants a sequel - soon. Points 4 of 5. CIRKELN REVIEW / SYDSVENSKAN 3 of 5 points from Annika Gustafsson. She thinks that film makers have succeed to find perfect actors for the different roles. The film could have more speed and more associative cut. CIRKELN REVIEW / GEFLE DAGBLADET Stefan Andersson joins the line of critics who think that actors are doing impressive job. CIRKELN was number 2, after FIFTY SHADES OF GREY, at Swedish movie Top 10 last week. There's not yet information how many people saw the film.

MARCH 24: BENNY ABOUT CIRKELN MUSIC
Benny tells in Swedish press about the music for CIRKELN. When director Levan Akin came for the first time, Benny said that they will listen one of his old songs as inspiration. Arkin asked "is it SKALLGÅNG?". It was and Benny saw that they had similar view about the musica and a piece of the song is also used in CIRKELN.
About his way to score films, Benny tells that he tries to see what the pictures tell. In case of CIRKELN, he has read the book onwards and backwards and has strong knowledge what happens in it.
Benny phoned Kate Bush's manager to get permission to use RUNNING UP THAT HILL. At first Bush's manger even did not want to disturb her as Bush was so busy. Benny insisted and said that the song will fit perfectly and if Bush one day needs a pianist, she will get him free. In the end she agreed.
Originally Benny did not want to write the music of CIRKELN , he asked Karin Dreijer Andersson to score the film, but she did not have time.
