Theresa May, Home Secretary in the UK Government, appeared on Desert Island Discs today. For non-UK ABBAChatters, this is a long running radio programme in which celebs/politicians etc. choose the eight songs that they would want to take with them if they were castaways. Though it's difficult for me to imagine anything that would serve to diminish my love for Dancing Queen, the knowledge that I share something in common with Theresa May is of profound concern. To be fair to the Rt Hon TM, she picked some cracking pieces of music (Frankie Valli excepted). Wonder whether she'll plump for 'Take a Chance on Me' as her campaign song when she runs for the Tory leadership...
