You might be interested in a book I've just put out on Amazon Kindle: 'Big Dreams, Bum Notes: How Music Led Me to Eurovision Oblivion'. It's a kind of 'humorous music memoir' that tells of my failed attempts to enter the Eurovision Song Contest for Austria in 1985 and the UK in 1998, with a key part played in the whole sorry story by my conversion to ABBA fandom, which involved a lot of 'selling out' on my part! So I've included stories about how I went over to music's 'dark side' (in most of my mates' eyes) by embracing ABBA, going on covert trips to see 'ABBA: The Movie', making a right fool of myself buying 'The Album' etc. The book also takes in Europop more broadly too.
