I recently saw the DVD of Chess In Concert from London 2008. I was impressed by Adam Pascal and of course Idina Menzel and Josh Groban were brilliant. But I didn't feel like I got a good enough sense of the story in this concert format. I wanted to see the play and this was the only edition available on Netflix. Anyone have any thoughts on it? How does it compare to the theatrical production of the play?
