Former Abba member Björn Ulvaeus has bought the building which contains Abba The Museum on the island of Djurgården in central Stockholm.

The building, which also includes the Swedish Music Hall of Fame and a hotel, has been on sale for a time and Ulvaeus says in a press release that he wanted to guarantee that the museum dedicated to his former band would have a stable and long-term landlord who understands the tenants' needs.
Ulvaeus was instrumental in the founding of the museum, which opened in 2013, rapidly becoming a popular tourist destination in the Swedish capital.
It has not yet been revealed how much he spent on buying the building, his co-financiers in the project will be Conni Jonsson and Pelle Lindberg.
