Yeah, that's what I think too... the latest video especially suggests it quite strongly. I do hope they get Elisabeth and Lolo to give them a bit of a touch up!

I love them! I can't wait to see them face to face next week. Nothing like this is ever going to be exactly right, especially since they were crafted by hand by people working from photos for the facial likenesses. I do agree that a couple of them look a bit off in some photos, but conversely there are photos in which each of them looks absolutely spot-on. No they're not exact but they're as close as they need to be, if not closer. And a thousand times better than the waxworks. Say what?! I've read a lot of bitching about these things since yesterday but this is the first time I've come across that one! Like we can know for sure that Agnetha never stood like this? Bloody hell. I think we've all worked out that they've gone for the dynamic stance below but they have had to make adaptations (ie: make each limb a loose end, so no hands touching, no hands in pockets) for them to serve their function. Remember, this is not a statue, but essentially four mannequins. The outfits are not a permanent fixture and at the moment there's nothing to suggest that these poses are permanent either. Maybe Agnetha's own boots weren't available? It's not as if they never shared clothes, especially on the 1979 tour when it wasn't unkown for them to even wear each others' catsuits. Remember, the woman who dressed these is the woman who dressed ABBA. Why should Ingmarie care if a few fans are up in arms because they can't remember seeing a photo of Agnetha wearing these boots? She knows better than any of us. It makes sense for them to be given generic hairstyles that that are most widely associated with each member if they're going to be changing the clothes from time to time.

Agnetha's figure looks pretty hot... and that's good enough for me

I think these are much better than Madame Tussuads wax figures. The fact that the artists tried to get proper measurements and hand molds of all four members and the hours it must have taken to put in each strand of hair, eye brow and eye lashes is incredible! Here is what the ABBA members had to say: Benny Andersson on the final results: “Wonderful mannequins, better looking than the originals.” Agnetha Fältskog on the clothes: “I like the costume choice. Back then, the tricots were one of my favourites. They were good for dancing in and moving about freely, it was nice to feel free on stage.” Frida Lyngstad Reuss on the figures: “The entire process has been so creative and inspiring – being able to give our input on all the details. And the results are excellent thanks to the perceptiveness of Göran and his team! Exquisite craftsmanship! Björn Ulvaeus on the process: “I brought my test head home and laid it on my pillow, stuffing some other pillows under the cover. Then I called my wife into the bedroom. What an impact! There was the man who lay beside her 35 years ago. The man she fell in love with! The model with the same measurements as Agnetha.

^I agree Fafner it was pretty funny what Benny said. By the way the hands were all molded from all four ABBA members. I don't know what to say about the boots but I thought I had seen a 79/80 tour pic of Agnetha wearing those boots?

Sometimes still photographs don't do the subject justice. I like them. And yes, I think they've used a bit of artistic leeway for effect. The outfits actually look they're from the Japan tour in 1980 but the hair styles on the girls are from a few years earlier. Must have been fun and games finally deciding on Frida's eye colour. 'They look hazel'......'Err, hang on, they're definitely green in this picture'.....'Well there's little flecks of orange in this one'.....'Arrgghhh !!!!'.

Is it just me, or has the thought crossed anyone else's mind that the artistic team simply must have held formal production meetings to discuss whether to go for accuracy or modesty regarding Björn's spandex trouser profile? It's just me, isn't it?

^^hehehehe....I don't think you're alone in that thought Martin! Also, am I the only one that thinks Bjorn's pre-hair sculpture looks like a "Borg" character from Star Trek?!

About two weeks ago the fantastic silicon ABBA dolls arrived to the museum. Here's a comment from Agnetha about the result. “I like the costume choice. Back then, the tricots were one of my favourites. They were good for dancing in and moving about freely, it was nice to feel free on stage.”

I love them! I can't wait to see them face to face next week. Say what?! I've read a lot of bitching about these things since yesterday but this is the first time I've come across that one! I have to say that while I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post so thoroughly - and goodness knows I obviously needed educating - I do not appreciate this kind of personal comment. Let's keep things civil shall we ?

They certainly had a good sense of humour, these mannequins are so lifelike, the people who made these are very talented.
