And there is another thing: practically all the pages from this magazine are printed on a dim paper (I hope the word "dim" is correctly employed here), so this effect can be caused by this fact, can it?

Maybe, but it seems to me more like digital artifacts. I scanned a part of this picture again now, just out of curiosity Unfortunately, this is a quality of paper.... Here is high-quality jpeg scan of one part (without changing) My changes of colour and clarity made the defect of paper more visible...

I think this one looks much better Maybe a little bit... Look at this screenshot from the program, you can see the defects I have another one rare shot from this magazine (from site sjobergbild) but on a glossy paper (like my calendar image posted before). I will post it and we will see the real differences

Here's a comparison with your older scan. I hope you'll be able to see what I meant. I see the imperfections of paper, I don't know how to call this effect of paper that the publishers made during the process of printing, but there is some mix of dulling and gloss here. The only difference is that I applied some light and colour effects and made these imperfections more remarkable... Let's wait for a glossy scan to compare them

Let's wait for a glossy scan to compare them Sorry for the waiting, I was busy the last day. Here is the scan from the same german magazine that I promised (on a glossy paper)

You're welcome!!! Oh, somebody scanned from "The ABBA photobook", excellent! I don't believe it's a scan from the photobook, I found it on some news/magazine website where I believe they published copies from the digital files that have been used for the book (and scanned directly from the original films).

Yes, it looks like an original digital file that was published in that book, because if that was a scan, there could be a visible line of centerfold (a mean non-photoshoped scan), because this book is very volume

Not to mention the text on the right... Do you mean my scan? This is from german magazine (not from this official ABBA photobook) and they wrote some comments on every photo...

Agnetha and Bjorn in Switzerland One of my many unsuccessful threads, ABBAchronisms, mentions this image and the related video footage. ABBA anachronisms are events that seem to occur in the wrong order. When documentary makers or fans want to show how the marriage went downhill, they sometimes use the Leysin skating images to represent A & B in happier times, as if this was before the problems started. abbachat.com/thread/531/abbachronisms
