This sitcom was recently cancelled in the US. It aired last summer here and had started a run this summer when NBC pulled it. It also aired on TV4 in Sweden. It never really took off here ratings-wise but I found it funny, clever and a nice albeit humorous glimpse at Swedish life and culture (helpful that it was largely from an American's perspective). Anyone else have any opinions on the show? deadline.com/2015/07/welcome-to-sweden-cancelled-nbc-amy-poehler-1201486609/

I really enjoyed this program, the supporting cast and the scenery were fun and interesting, but I didn't know it was recently cancelled.

Episodes from season 2 are on Hulu, but I believe they have stopped production. It no longer airs on NBC. They pulled it after the first two episodes of this season didn't do well in the ratings. I really enjoyed watching it last summer, especially since good summer TV is so hard to find.

Damian, I watched the first four episodes of Season 2 and then there was nothing airing after that. Too bad because season 2 had some promise.

I agree. A lot of laugh-out-loud moments. It seemed like it was growing into itself. I wish a cable or streaming network would pick it up.

I watched the first season. Some stuff was amusing, my favorite character was the caustic Aubrey and my favorite line was Bjorn telling the star of the show, "Why would I want anymore money?".
However. I openly detest NBC for their overt political bias (yes, every network in America is just as bad, I know...) and I knew going in, they would waste no time in portraying left-wing Sweden as a paradise, and contrast it harshly with elements of America that NBC hates, as in the ridiculous cartoonish examples of America as right-wing ultra-conservative religious kooks (his parents I believe). NBC sucks.
Other than that, I liked it.
