I have been told by another ABBA fan that it was mentioned that on ABBAtalk that Cherry Red Records are planning to release a remastered version of Agnetha's 1987 album 'I Stand Alone' I really hope that they do as I would love to see the two Spanish songs included La Ultima Vez & Yo No Fui (Quien Dijo Adios) has anyone else heard anymore information regarding this news.

That would be cool. It's really about time. Ditto about the spanish tracks.

This is what I would like the track list for the updated version of I Stand Alone to be.
01: The Last Time 02: Little White Secrets 03: I Wasn’t The One (Who Said Goodbye) 04: Love In A World Gone Mad 05: Maybe It Was Magic 06: Let It Shine 07: We Got A Way 08: I Stand Alone 09: Are You Gonna Throw It All Away 10: If You Need Somebody Tonight
Bonus Tracks
11: La Ultima Vez (Spanish Version of The Last Time) 12: Yo No Fui (Quien Dijo Adios) (Spanish Version of I Wasn’t The One (Who Said Goodbye) 13: Let It Shine (Bright Mix) 14: Let It Shine (7” Version) 15: I Wasn’t The One (Who Said Goodbye) (Extended Version) 16: I Stand Alone (Extended Version)

I'd buy it for tracks 13 and 16 alone. The remaining bonus tracks mean little to me, but I'm sure they'll be real treats for other fans.

Exactly, and I know lots of people will be thrilled at the prospect of having them in pristine condition. It's only the two remixes that attract me, though. Am I right in thinking that Cherry Red tend not to do DVDs?

"La Ultima Vez" and "Yo No Fui (Quien Dijo Adios)" are exact translations of the titles The Last Time and I Wasn't The One (Who Said Goodbye).

It has been confirmed in the magazine of the Official ABBA Fan Club (March issue) that I Stand Alone would be re-released later this year. No details yet though.

I know this is old news, but personally, I'd rather leave it to Warner Bros. / Rhino to do the work... they seem to own their WEA-era category with Agnetha, objectively.
Someday we'll see a deluxe (or slightly expanded if "the status deluxe" cannot be attained) edition of "I Stand Alone", and I hope I'm not the only one who would think of it, so long as it is remastered from the tape and mastered by well-known names such as Bob Ludwig. (cough) Excuse my nit-picking approach to remastered reissues
Relating to the Cherry Red reissue of ISA, an unknown record label named Quaver Records reissued the same album, unofficially, a year ago, but you won't get the same out from it due to the fact that it was a CDr...
Whether it's the Cherry Red label or Rhino Ent., I can live with it, if I Stand Alone has a booklet about the backstory behind the recording sessions (not a booklet full of lyrics) and is packaged with Digipak.

I don't think its happening and I have messaged Bruce Gaitsch on facebook he replied saying that he had contacted the head of Warner Music Sweden but they haven't replied he did say that they approached him in January saying that because this year is the 30th Anniversary of I Stand Alone they want to re-release it and that they have contacted Agnetha about it he did say that she says no to everything that gets sent to her but he remains adamant that its being released but its almost November and the 30th Anniversary is 9th November so and there is no news whatsoever so I don't think its being released unless its been postponed until 2018 as I Stand Alone didn't get released in some countries until 1988.

Posted on ABBAtalk's Facebook page Now that's what I'm talking about! Unreleased instrumentals, behind the scenes, alternative mix! And that's only just the speculation. Go TEAM WARNER! In their reissue field, they did exceptionally well with Frida's debut album; now I hope they'll do I Stand Alone some really great justice there. No for TEAM POLAR, sadly in my honest opinion (for the remastering works)

Maybe with the renewed ABBA hype, we'll finally learn some more about this?

This project seems to have died a death. Perhaps the record company has lost interest?

This project seems to have died a death. Perhaps the record company has lost interest? Maybe they did. Such a shame, because I would've probably bought it.
