In the week before Frida's landmark birthday, today marks the 40th anniversary of the release of a lot of fans favourite solo album of hers. Favourite song? 'Ett Liv I Solen' for me followed by the original 'Fernando' and 'Liv Pa Mars'.

Gorgeous album and it has aged beautifully. Ett liv i solen, Liv på Mars? and Jag är mig själv nu are my big favourites. Var är min clown and Aldrig mej are pretty special too. That voice!

I don't like the way Frida posed on this album cover. (I don't have the album, but I've seen the picture in a couple of books I have.)
