I'm profoundly deaf and I wear Cochlear Impants to help with my hearing, are there any other fans who are also deaf?

I'm not deaf but I am interested in learning more. Have you always been profoundly deaf? How do your implants help?
Profoundly deaf is the next one down from being totally deaf, so it's more than "severe". Tell us more about it, Alex?

Here is a chart The cochlear implant has a magnet which I put on my head and the microphone sends electrical impulses to the cochlear which doesn't work, I can hear with the cochlear implants and I can listen to ABBA, without them, I can't hear anything.

Agreed, interesting.
There possibly might be deaf fans, but not necessarily on this forum.

I have often wondered about this! Music is such a wonderful thing, one of the best things about being alive.

I, actually, take courses to communicate by sign. But it is Quebec sign language (LSQ). My dream is to interpreting all ABBA songs in American sign language (ASL)... beginning by my local sign language and learn the ASL after to achieve my dream.
