One of the best badge designs around. Not many of these were produced as opposed to the 'Dancing Queen' badge which was manufactured in the thousands I suspect. You are right - there are maybe 3 designs that stood out from the rest, and this is definitely one of them. The best ones are the hardest to find of course - and yes, Dancing Queen badge was certainly more mass produced. I guess that's ok though - makes the hard to find ones a nice rarity

Finally I bought this very nice original earrings from Australia. I know it is a part of a series. Can you help me to know more about it? I don't have enough info. It is promoting The movie, isn't it? Thanks in advance. The second one in my collecion is this stamp collection. Long awaited items all.

Do you mean the one with the girls on? What's the third one ?

Hi everyone, I can't believe what I scored from ebay during the week. I managed to buy the ABBA Gold steel box with the hologram picture on the front, still sealed for $15.50. Amazing. It arrived in the mail on Friday and I'm very happy with it. I've decided that because I already have the standard 3 CD digipak, that I'll keep my new addition sealed as a collector's piece. Cheers!

It's always very satisfying when what you suspect might be a so-called ebay bargain arrives and then when you nervously open it you realize that it is exactly as described after all

I received Nina, Pretty Ballerina today for £12 and it seems I had a colour pixel misprint on one side of the cover like the French Dancing Queen Cover, Are those sort of misprints rare?

4 coloured vinyl singles box, arrival vinyl half speed, picture discs of D queen, knowing me, Fernando, waterloo. Universal have treated their Abba fans well. I would still like the picture disc album of voulez vous released in france, but not at the prices people want.

Stick with the UK Voulez-Vous picture disc. It sticks to the album artwork (instead of having a photo on the back that's completely unrelated to the album).

There's a UK one on Amazon at £34. The French one is really odd. No titles on the front, and it has that weird cover in gold artwork, completely unrelated to the album. And if that wasn't enough, it uses a 1975/6 photo on the back (this being for a 1979 album). The UK one is far superior. www.abbaplaza.com/site-en/picture-this-voulez-vous-uk.asp

I love the Tribute to Frida book, which came in the post today. It has some great photos from the ABBA years. The ABBA celebration magazine is OK. Not the best quality paper, but some rare photos I haven't seen before, the best ones being from the 1977 tour.

Golden Double Album How do these albums from France, Germany, Sweden, even Singapore and all over the world end up in record shops in the Uk especially Wales? Quick answer: eBay. Nowadays stuff from all over the world can be acquired cheaply and easily. Fans are curious about them, order them, then probably realise they didn't really want them afterall. The hassle of posting vinyl albums, not to mention eBay and PayPal charges, mean that people offload them on charity and second hand record shops. I've also read that in the 70s and 80s, imports would sometimes be sold in record shops in the UK due to CBS not being able to press sufficient quantities of Epic issues in time to meet demand.
