Frida is Coming Home for the Torshälla 700th Anniversary.
Anni-Frid Lyngstad was born in Norway but moved as a child with her grandmother to Torshälla. Next year, Frida is coming 'home' to Torshälla. She will, among other things, participate in 'Alar talks to' , a series of discussions led by Torshälla profile Alar Kuutmann. The series is one of fifteen projects that received funding from the Torshälla 700th anniversary fund.
- When I started planning the series Anni-Frid Lyngstad was of course, a desire and a dream. But now when it becomes a reality it feels really great, says Alar Kuutmann.
The exact date when Frida is coming home has not yet been finalized, but that it's going to happen is confirmed by musician and friend Gunnar Sandevärn.
- Yes, she wants to do this and thinks it will be fun, says Gunnar Sandevärn who also will participate in the discussion.
Torshälla's birthday is February 24 and will open the anniversary year 2017. Frida's participation will be something special, admits Anniversary General Annika Edetun Lahtinen.
- It's cool when you put force behind the idea and when you see that things are actually feasible. There are many people contributing to the jubilee and we are delighted over that commitment.
