I'm thinking of Sunny Girl, Lycka, Ring Ring, Gonna Sing You My Lovesong, Chiquitita, Andante Andante, I Have A Dream, Was Die Liebe Sagt, Hey, Musikant, Jag Ar Beredd, Barnen Sover and Slowly
How about Nina, Pretty Ballerina to show that real piano skill.
What songs do you think will suit the album?

Benny Andersson's "Piano" shows a lot of dreamy interpretation of his selected songs,
so I'd think "I Have a Dream" will suit it quite well. Call it corny but
"The Winner Takes it All" is a definite candidate for Piano 2,
even if the song key's transposed lower or higher than usual.
Hej gamle man isn't bad, but could use some broody feel from Andersson's fingers... like "you'll never see an old man again"

Benny recorded "Sunny Girl" for Piano but decided not to use it.

Piano is currently number 11 in the UK mid week album charts, impressive.
it should be in the official charts on Friday.

Piano , makes number 12 in the official UK album charts, a great achievement. I believe the second highest ' solo' album behind 'A' and equalling My Colouring Book

I believe the second highest ' solo' album behind 'A' and equalling My Colouring Book Great news - another reason to record a follow up album  There is an interview with Benny in the last Official Fan Club's magazine and he confirms that he's considering it as he enjoyed making this one. Also he said he would like to record all of Chess and Kristina Från Duvemåla this way but adds that it would be a big project. Personally I think he's too busy to do that. But Piano 2 seems realistic... |

One of the reasons why Benny considers recording Piano 2 (or whatever he's going to call it) is that he wasn't able to include all the songs that HE thought were suitable - he mentioned explicitly The Winner Takes It All, Like An Angel Passing Through My Room and Sunny Girl. Besides these three I would love to hear Lätt Som En Sommarfjäril or Slipping Through My Fingers. Quartet would be good too. And I wonder how Intermezzo would sound, if it even is possible to arrange it for solo piano. From the ones you mentioned I Have A Dream and Chiquitita are quite obvious I think.
As for Nina, Pretty Ballerina - that fast piano part is said to be unplayable - it was speeded up in the studio.
