I took these photos of Sidney Myer Music Bowl (where ABBA played in 1977) during a vacation a few years back. I spent the time trying to visualise how it was back then, all the excitement and hysteria. Lovely venue, with the skyline in the background. Attachments:

Great photos of the Music Bowl - it really would have been an awesome venue to see the concert at in 1977 - dare I say, even better than Sydney ! Although I think the excitement and hysteria in Sydney topped other venues

its siightly weird how they did the 1st 6th of march concert in tha day. Yes its probably because of tight schedule but it wrecks the wonderful warm colours and effects that are best scene at night. Espeically the mini-musical done in daylight. I think it would wreck the atmosphere plus how they did it as it usually goes pitch black and only the narrator can be seen as the girls move around getting into positions. Either way, It would of been a great concert!
