I was listening to Nina Pretty Ballerina, and the line " she works in an office......." gave me the thought..
is The Day Before You Came, a grown up Nina, she's still in the office, but life got dull , until.....
I guess there are more related tracks that could follow on...

I always thought that Nina, Pretty Ballerina is the same girl in Dancing Queen since there are some similarities in the lyrics. This is what I had posted to my blog a few years ago:

What Becky (abbafan456) has posted is interesting, but if Nina is "only seventeen", she wouldn't be catching a train and working in an office-she would be in high school.

It could be that Nina either dropped out of school, or Nina Pretty Ballerina is her when she's older than she is in Dancing Queen.  Even if they're not the same person, Bjorn and Benny probably took some inspiration from NPB when they wrote Dancing Queen. |

She could if she dropped school early at the end of Year 11. Does that happen outside the Uk? Yes. In the USA, you have to go to school at least until you are 16 years old. When a person is 16 years old, he/she has two more years of high school. |
