Would love for Frida to give us either another album of original material or a cover album like colouring book. Could be a good time coming up to capatalise on Mamma Mia. Songs on my imaginary album would be-Cher’s Believe, Elkie Brook’s No more the fool, Rita Coolidge’s We’re all alone, Take That’s Rule the world, Amy winehouse Back to Black- other songs-Woman in love, If I can’t have you, Life on Mars(re visit), Skyfall, Ruby Winter’s ‘I will’, Hallelujah, You’re my world, Power of love, eurythmics - love is a stranger, Losing my mind, It’s a Sin. Erasure’s Love to hate you. These are just a few that I can think of that would suit Frida’s voice. Anyone else have songs they would like to hear Frida sing ?

Funnily enough, I've long thought 'We're All Alone' was perfect for her voice. Could she still pull it off? Undoubtedly the vocal power is now diminished but for someone who is supposedly long 'retired' from the music business, her voice at that 'Benny and Bjorn 50th Anniversary' celebration was seemingly still pretty strong and intact. Thoughts of a meaningful comeback weren't exactly encouraged in that Lars Lerin programme a couple of years ago when she said she didn't want to disappoint and was fearful of criticism. But since then, she has recorded a new version of 'Andante Andante' for Arturo Sandoval's 'Duets' album, of which we still await to hear.

I'd absolutely pay to hear Frida's current voice sing Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. I believe hers is quite suitable based on her low-key impressive performance of Arturo Sandoval's cover version of Andante Andante :-)
(digressing as usual) She, at her prime (ABBA years), would had sound very interesting on singing Take a Little Piece in My Heart and Gamble-Huff ballad materials (O'Jays), and I certainly don't mind the Swedish lyrics.
