From another thread. If I can’t have you. The Bee Gees had earmarked that for Abba. Great song . Other songs on my wish list-obviously I know him so well, Heart of Glass, Total eclipse of the Heart, Woman in Love , No more Tears and Chain reaction to suggest a few.

To be honest I wish "Rydeen" (YMO) was an ABBA song. It sounds like something Benny Andersson would have done during the Super Trouper-era, given that the song itself is heavily synth-layered.
The only problem is that particular song has no lyrics. With some lyrics, it's sounds like some sort of a sequel to Lay All Your Love on Me.. maybe.

Had a listen. Interesting song. Takes me back to 77 .....Space and Magic Fly. Quite like instrumentals. Abba did gave us two. My favourite being the haunting Arrival. When I hear it I think of mist rolling in from the hills. Also liked Frida’s Time- the lyrical version of Arrival. Very Christmassy feel. Can’t imagine what kind of lyrics would fit with Intermezzo though! Quite fun to try.

^^^^ check out Sarah Brightmans vocal version of Arrival, it was released as a single but alas didn't hit the charts, from memory it was released at Christmas as well, surprisingly very good....

Today I stumbled upon this thread… maybe we should bring it back to life :-) When I first heard Highland by One More Time, I thought it was an ABBA song. It remains my favourite to these days and I think it would be interesting to hear Agnetha and Frida singing it…
And I agree with Zeebee that Another You Another Me would make a good ABBA song... certainly Agnetha and Frida could handle the vocals better, especially the chorus.
