When you compare the original 1978 picture sleeve it featured individual head shots.
For the 2018 picture disc a group shot is featured, probably from the same photo shoot.

I hope I get lucky and am able to snap one of these on the day!

Looks like a collectable record to me! Those days I am just tired of David Bowie records appearing everywhere in Record Store Day; it's becoming a "running gag" for me. Quite relieving to see ABBA foray into Record Store Day. I wonder if it's going to be in the USA? So far the Official Record Store Day UK website shows ABBA whereas the USA version does not...

So far it's been confirmed only in Germany and The Netherlands. Hopefully Sweden will release it too, as it was ABBA's last No.1 single there. But with just 1000 copies available I'm afraid it will be gone in a flash... Another ABBA related record rumoured to be released on the Record Store Day 2018 is Agnetha's Elva Kvinnor I Ett Hus album. Not confirmed yet, however.

So far, Germany, Netherlands, U.K., Australia, France and Ireland are confirmed for record store day.
No go for North America, as of yet.
I saw an up date for 2000 copies being made available
This was not ever a major radio hit here in N. America the song came and went fairly quick, so I highly doubt
any distributor will chance issuing it here!
Too bad really, now I have to wait for one to come up for sale on EBay, which it undoubtedly will!!!!

Was expecting SNC to be in a Voulez-Vous, 40th anniversary, coloured vinyl singles box set next year. Like Fernando was included in the Arrival singles box set.
Perhaps they are releasing SNC separately so the Voulez-Vous box doesn't contain too many discs. Chiquitita, Does Your Mother Know, I Have a Dream, and Voulez-Vous, already makes four.
Hopefully SNC will get a picture disc release, along with these four, next year though.

I'm thinking that GGG will go in the Super Trouper box, as there are only Super Trouper and The Winner Takes it All from that album (Assuming they follow the Scandinavian discography).

It was recorded around the same time as Voulez-Vous, released before I Have A Dream and included in the 2001 reissue. There's always room for 5 singles in the box. Besides, Lay All Your Love On Me can be included in the Super Trouper box. Perhaps even Happy New Year. |

SNC has been added for Canada 🇨🇦 distribution, at the last minute, thank goodness for that. Also, Ebay is already alight with pre-sales since Thursday morning!!

I was very lucky - managed to order both the SNC single and Agnetha's Elva Kvinnor LP. Hopefully there won't be any problem with delivery... I won't celebrate until I see them on my table. :-)

Yes, I managed to snag 2 copies of the Summer Night City 7” at 2 separate stores in my home city of Vancouver!
Both stores had 1 copy each, so I got extremely lucky, but I was up extra early and in line before stores opened.
Has any one had a look as to what this item is fetching $$$ on EBay...it’s insane🤪🤪🤪
